Q: But can you give us a rough guess as to.... A: NO Q: Not even a... A: NO Q: How do I sign up for the beta and where can I get the client? A: If you do not already have an Elysium account you can sign up at https://tbc.elysium-project.org/ You can download the 2.4.3 client at https://www.dkpminus.com/blog/wow-2-4-3-download/ Q: What is the realmlist? A: set realmlist logontbc.elysium-project.org Q: What is the XP rate for the TBC server? A: X1 XP. Q: Will there be insta 60's or any XP boosts at all in TBC? A: No, and no. Q: What is minimum level a character must be to copy over to TBC? A: Level 58. Q: Will there be a Coin Shop? A: Yes but not immediately upon release. At an undetermined date later a Coin Shop similar to Nighthavens will exist. Q: Will my gear, gold, and farmed mats copy with my character? A: Yes, however all gold and farmable mats will be deleted from the original. Q: What about my quest log, mail, professions, and reputation copy? A: Yes. Q: Will I have to rename my character or otherwise reserve my existing Nighthaven character name? A: All names used on existing Nighthaven characters will be honored on TBC realm. Q: Can I transfer my bank alt? A: Yes. Q: Will there be a cap on gold and items I can copy? A: No limit on either. Q: Will my character still exist on Nighthaven after the copy? A: Yes, all copied characters will remain on Nighthaven, minus all gold and farmed mats Q: Will there be a charge to copy to the TBC realm? A: No. Q: Will XP tokens purchased on Nighthaven carry over with my character copy? A: No, XP coins will either be removed from character or deactivated. Q: Will I keep my 28 slot bag when I copy to TBC? A: Yes, it has a unique id that differentiates it from the Warlock class ebon shadow bag. Q: Will my store purchased mounts copy over and will the 'flying' mounts actually fly? A: Yes and no. Q: Will you provide incentives like other TBC servers to 'entice' players to roll Alliance in the event of a faction imbalance? A: No. Q: Will the Anathema DB merger happen before TBC is launched? A: Yes. Q: How will race/class changes work on release? Will there be a delay for 'server firsts' with BE paladins for example? A: Yes. We plan to respect the sanctity of the 'server first' concept. Q: Can I copy my character back to Nighthaven from TBC? A: No. Copies are one way only from Nighthaven to TBC Q: Will the talent respec cost be capped as it is on Nighthaven? A: No. Q: Will guild banks be implemented from day one? A: Yes. Q: Will spawn rates be normal or will you allow for a higher spawn rate to accommodate so many players rushing the newbie zones at launch? A: There will be a variable spawn rate based on the number of players actively questing in each zone. Q: Will the talent respec cost be capped as it is on Nighthaven? A: No. Q: Will the Gates of AQ be open at Launch? A: Yes, the TBC server is treated as a progression patch for Nighthaven, but on a new server. Q: Will there be dual spec's? A: No. Q: What steps have you taken to prepare for possible server instability at launch? A: We have taken appropriate steps to ensure server stability and core stability in regards to coding issues. However there are server stress issues that can only be discovered by a true, high population beta test. That's where you come in. The more of you that can log in concurrently the better we can assess the servers ability to process the commands, requests, and various other back side issues that can only arise from 1000's of people online doing thousands of different things. Q: Will TBC be a progression server like Nighthaven? Will TBC have a 'fast' progression like Nighthaven? A: Yes, with all content releases gated behind patches beginning with patch 2.0.12. TBC will not have an accelerated patch schedule. Q: When will arenas be available? A: All arenas will be available from launch EXCEPT Ruins of Lordaeron which will become available at patch 2.1Q: Will talents be reset for characters copying to TBC because of the new talent set?
