BAASTEEN 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Hello, I am an absolutely new player to the game. I have been playing for a couple of days now, and was able to get to lv 14. I stumbled across a problem with the Stagnant Oasis Quest, which after speaking with a GM was clear to me is an important quest because it opens a chain of quests which I will not be able to play, since I cannot complete te Stagnant Oasis Quest. I was recieving the help of a GM while in game, but the issue was never sold and though I waited around for a while the GM was later logged off and nobody answered any further tickets. I need to now, if someone can help me with this issue because I have been playing a lot lately and not being able to complete this quest would mean I would not be able to play anymore since grinding my warrior has already been hard enough for me to not be able to get the exp of a whole bunch of quests in a chain. I really, really hope someone reads this and helps me with it since I can no longer stay online to wait for someone to respond to my tickets. I really wish to keep playing and honestly if this quest is so important for my grinding process not being able to complete it would mean I will have to stop playing. BAASTEEN 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2019 I cannot complete the quest. I do what it says there to Test the Dried Seeds and it never registrers it. I am 0/1 Dried Seeds. The GM Brownie said it shows completed in the logs. Still I can't turn it in. I was asked to exit the game, erase the WDB foldder and log back in. I did, nothing happened. I was asked to abandon the quest, exit game, log back in. I did, nothing happened. And then nobody answered me anymore I waited online for hours and no one even replied the ticket. I was doing some research and it is over 4k XP I would be losing by not being able to complete this questline. That alone is enough set back to uninstall the client. I don't intend to have to grind over 4k XP more than everyone else already needs to grind for XP. I mean come on, I was warned multiple times this happens a lot playing Elysium Project, I didn't believe it and here you go. I guess I asumed it wouldn't screw me over so baddly. But 4k XP loss at Lv. 14 is a straight up dissadvantage, and anyway how do I know this will not happen at least once every 10 Lv's. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you abandoned the quest and were unable to pick it back up again (and thus have another try at completing it) than it did complete and you did get credit it for it in the logs and the XP for the quest. Please note the rewards for this quest back in vanilla is only 1150 XP. The XP and rewards were re-worked many times over the years and patches in retail that changed these values. https://vanilla-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?quest=877 You should be able to pickup Altered Beings which is the next in the quest chain. https://vanilla-twinhead.twinstar.cz/?quest=880 The quest reward for Altered Beings is another 1150 XP. I think only leaders of fang is more Exp than that and I will not be able to take any of the quest following if I cannot turn this quest in. The seeds are still in my inventory and everything. I don't know what is wrong or anything, I simply can't get the client to registrer I interacted with the fisure. And this tauren Tonga something won't let me complete the quest, meaning I can't take the following step. I will download the addon, and thanks a lot for your help. But, I still can't complete the quest and was never awarded the xp for it nor can I tske the following step. Try deleting the seeds from the inventory and starting from scratch. See if you can repeat the quest. This quest chain doesn't block you from anything but the one other quest, Altered Beings. So in all the maximum amount of XP you would miss out on is 2300 XP. To put that into perspective, it's over 6 million XP to reach max level and as you level each higher level quest is worth more.
