Lost in Transfer(Nostalrius)

Dear Support Team,

back in 2016 when Nostalrius shut down i quit playing WoW. Now that I started again I read that i can get my characters back and my friend sucessfully did so a few days ago.

Now my problem is that i can't quite remember my login/user name but none of the combinations i tried worked and neither do any of my two email addresses (there also aren't any emails from Nostalrius in those two accounts).

Is there some way you can help me get my characters back? I can happily discuss this with you in Discord/TS.

See if you can search your characters in our armory; https://cp.elysium-project.org/armory

You will have to create an account to see it. Some popular character names were taken before the merge happened, so search parts of your name and see if you see a character with a bunch of numbers after it and see if those look like your character. For example I would search for Zanco instead of Zancon.

The armory will tell you if your characters are even in our database. If you didn't manually transfer them from Nost then we will not have them. The transfers were only open for a limited time, so if you are unable to find the emails with the transfer keys it's unlikely they were saved and were lost with Nost.

I tried that but apparently it doesn't find characters with the same ending, i.e.: Ay finds a character named "Ay" but not "Aybo".

Well that would explain it. I don't think I have. It's just weird for me because my friend could easily do it, but i guess he forgot that he did that 3 years ago.

He probably jumped right in on the transfers. For many it was kind of luck because it wasn't open long. So if you didn't have to log on around that time you sort of lost out. Which is very unfortunate.
