Pin on Client Login

When I try to log in to the client, a number pad pops up after entering my password asking for a pin. I don't know what pin this would be. I tried entering an auth code, but that didn't do anything aside from disconnect me from the server immediately. Plus, someone else on here said they didn't have two factor set up and still got the pin request. I'm lost right now. I don't know if this is something I set up a long time ago when I last played or what.

I tried to screenshot this, but it's coming up as a TGA file type, so I can't post it. I'll keep trying to grab a screenshot in the meantime.

This is your authenticator. Open your Google authenticator app and type the number it gives you.

I tried that with my  authenticator, it just shows "disconnected from server" ??

Does logging into the website control panel work from you? Trying to narrow this down to see if its an authentication issue or a game client issue.

I believe your realmlist is good because its asking for your PIN.

Let's try to sync your authenticator by opening the app, then going to the hamburger menu in the upper right that looks like 3 dots, then settings and click on Time correction for codes, the Sync now.

 

Wait about 1 minute and then try again.

Also note, we have to be careful here after too many login attempts its going to ban you for an hour. So don't spam this or anything trying to get in.

i used all the right info to login, used the Google authenticator for the keypad, after i pressed enter "disconnected from server", after first attempt

Right, but did you sync it per my instructions above? It could be a time difference between your app and timezone and the server timezone. This fixes that issue.

im on iPhone, but i can't find the sync anywhere in the app, the hamburger menu on my app, only have send feedback, private policy

I have android, strange that they apps are different. No other menu's or options for settings at all?
