Enrage sit proc

I'm not getting enrage procs from sitting anymore, I still get crit though. But when I'm standing and get crit my enrage procs. It was working fine yesterday

This was a bug fix that people have been abusing. You can no longer gain a proc while sitting.

The sit mechanic to force crits persisted throughout all of vanilla wow and for 3 years now.  If this was abuse of a bug, Blizzard would have changed it and it wouldn't have been this way for 3 years already.  Why the sudden change of heart to go non-Blizzlike on the issue?  If this was a bug, exploit, or abuse of an unintended mechanic, then Blizzard would have changed it when they ran Vanilla WoW, but they did not.  There are plenty of genuine bugs and exploits that have gone unaddressed for a long time that have affected many players, but a nerf (not a fix) is suddenly needed?

The "new" mechanic is the actual official 1.12 one.

In the early patches of vanilla, the proc did occur when you are critically hit by a mob or a player. The proc did occur when sitting and being hit by a mob or a player. But they fixed the sit part for mobs when the mechanics where abused after the previous fix of the reckoning stacks.

 

Just check the official forums and you will find the "Not a bug list" thread where it is mentioned that :

The fix /sit =>crit against mob was a private server bug that where never fixed except now, on Elysium. That's somehow boring for the habits on the game, but thta's better for the vanilla-like experience.

 

Maybe it is a little bit late to place the fix on private servers after 12years, but to be honest only a few remembered when this was fixed (pre or before tbc - and it even came back on tbc for a undefined period - some says it was on the patch 2.0 but before tbc... who knows) and this is not event mentioned clearly in any patch note (it was a hot fix for what it seems)
