TheSwartz 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2019 Only within WOW, my mouse slows down significantly. Like ~25% of how it moves if I minimize WOW, or exit it. The mouse moves smoothly. So, it's not similar to another problem I've seen people ask about within Vanilla WOW clients. This one is a Logitech MX510. Running on Windows 10. It has been my tried and true mouse for ~12 years. I've never had a problem with it :) I've turned up the mouse speed within windows settings to the max. There are no configuration software anymore for this mouse (for windows 10). I've turned on/off the mouse settings within WoW graphics settings (hardware mouse, etc.). Any ideas? Other than buying/trying another mouse? I'm out traveling for a week and won't be able to try one of my other home mice for awhile. Thanks!
Zancon 117 Report post Posted June 7, 2019 Thays very strange, maybe a DPI setting is being over ridden for some reason when wow launches? I have never heard of this

I have never heard of this I'm thinking something like that too. I tried a different mouse, another older Logitech mouse (? model, again no specific Win 10 drivers since it's older) which is doing the same thing. However, this one has a DPI setting so I can turn that up to compensate so all is good. When I get home, I'll plug these mice into my PC that isn't having a problem (but with a totally different, modern mouse) to narrow down what's causing the issue.
