ewynn 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2019 Hi!! Just reached level 10 hunter and now I am on the quest "Taming the beast". It tells me to use the taming rod to tame a dire mottled boar just outside Razor Hill. BUT once I get to a dire mottled boar just outside Razor Hill I can't tame it because it just says "invalid target". Tried taming several other animals just to try even though the quest specifically says dire mottled boar. What do I do? Is the quest bugged? Thanks 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zancon 117 Report post Posted June 19, 2019 Could be the boar was previously tamed or something. Try killing a few and waiting for the respawn before taming. The taming can and normally does fail a couple times when doing the quest. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Zancon 117 Report post Posted June 20, 2019 I tested the quest yesterday and it is working. So either you have some kind of addon that interferes or you are trying to tame the wrong boar.
