Stuck on retrieving character list + high ping

Whenever I try to log in to Nighthaven, I get stuck on 'retrieving character list' for about 30 seconds, then I get logged in. However, once I select a character, I either get disconnected or if I do get into the game, my ping starts at around 500 then I eventually get 5k+ ping and get disconnected again. On the PTR I can log in and don't get disconnected, however my ping hovers around 1-3k.  (For the rest of the apps on my computer I have low ping and the internet works fine)

 

I have played without problems for a few weeks now, however this problem has only started in the last few days. I have cleared my WDB and WTF folders and changed my DNS settings but am still having problems. Anyone know how to fix this? At this point the game is unplayable.

Saw your PM before this, I have replied to your PM.

 

Do you happen to be on windows 7? The most recent windows 7 updates have issues, is why I ask.
