Derperoni 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2019 I have the same problem on my mage in Ironforge, all NPCs get listed as Unknown and I'm incapable of doing anything. Sucks cause I had all my cash on my mage can't even manage to mail it out. But my 60 hunter has no problem whatsoever playing. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zancon 117 Report post Posted August 10, 2019 From what it seems like gathering information from other users, all of these issues are being caused by addons. Please remove all addons and delete your WTF and WDB folders entirely before trying to log into the game again. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Derperoni 0 Report post Posted August 10, 2019 (edited) Disabling my addons and deleting WDB fixed it and I was able to rebuy skills and use vendors, but when I open my mailbox on my mage it froze up the game and I had to force shutdown. Keeps happening consistently. Character's name is Lemiwinks and I don't really care about the items in my mailbox that much if you can just delete them somehow that might fix things cause now I still can't mail the gold off my character. Edit: It's also really weird that this character is the only one this problem exists on, my level 6 bank alt that's also a mage and had mail has no problems even with addons on, got the mail from my 60 hunter fine too addons on as well with everything functioning. Zancon 117 Report post Posted August 10, 2019 What we are now learning as this whole situation unfolds is that if your main is in a large guild you may have to /gquit and try the interactions again. Use /gquit ( you may have to delete WTF, WDB, and your addons to reload and use /gquit before fully reinstalling addons) or 2. Play without addons.
