DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2019 I have done all the quests until the final stage in Dire Maul West. The ritual starts and demons summon, but no other progress by any means. We restarted it multiple times, but we couldn't make is run as expected. After we entered Dire Maul and before we could start the Ritual, the server crashed two times. We played on Stormrage.

DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2019 (edited) I have opened a ticket. Unfortunately I went to bed, before you could take care of. I just logged in. It was gone without any further notification. What am I suppose to do excactly? Form a group, open a ticket and wait for a response? So we play and the GM watches? Zancon 117 Report post Posted September 6, 2019 Just open the ticket detailing the issues. Dont need a group or to to be in DM. Play normally and await a response. The tickets disappear on server crashes unfortunately.
DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2019 Sorry, but tickets don't work. No one ever replies to them.
Zancon 117 Report post Posted September 10, 2019 I assure you they do. For quest completion you have to be online with the GM to get it done. The client doesn't allow you to mark quest completion of offline players.
DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2019 I doubt that "quest completion" can actually work in this case. The quest taker is the dead mount itself, which never shows up during the ritual.
Zancon 117 Report post Posted September 10, 2019 You don't believe a GM can complete the quest in the Database and give you quest rewards or reagents? Because I assure you they can.
DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2019 (edited) When they can edit the database, I would guess they can do so without me being logged in. Anyway. I am trying tickets for almost a week now. NO ONE replies to them. Even after six hours of waiting. Edited September 11, 2019 by DBqFetti
DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2019 Is it still correct to keep trying to use the ingame-ticket-system?
DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2019 Ok, so I turned lvl 70. I can't learn flying now without spending another 600g in order to learn riding 150 before. I was writing tickets for a week. I have it reported here. I have it reported on github. Yet no one has a solution. No one even cares. I can totally understand when it's not fixed right away. But it seems that no one is even only thinking about a temporary solution or something, so I can continue playing. Being lvl 70 without a flying mount is litterly pointless, because you can't enter the important areas. Aside from the great inconvenience because outland is designed to be flown.
Zancon 117 Report post Posted September 22, 2019 Apologies, I have been away on vacation. You always have to spend gold for riding to learn flying. But if you are saying you bought it previously on Stormrage then we can look into it. If you played on Nighthaven and purchased it after 8/8 than the server were already split and that progress wouldn't of made it to Stormrage.
DBqFetti 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2019 (edited) I am sorry, I guess I haven't made the exact conditions clear enough. Of course you are right, to learn flying you always have to spend gold. But as we all know, riding/crafting skills etc. work in a progressive manner. In TBC the available riding skills are 75, 150, 225 and 300. And with "progressive" I mean that in order to learn skill 300, it is required to learn 225 before. And to learn 225 it is required to learn 150 before and so on. You will also know that warlock character are used to solve quests in order to obtain their ground mounts (75 and 150). The quest rewards are always both, a summon-mount-ability plus the respective riding skill. Therefor, for your warlock character, you don't need to buy riding skills for ground mounts at a trainer. For my character, the current situation is as follows: normal ground mount skill (75): I have that epic ground mount skill (150): Can't get that normal flying mount skill (225): I want that epic flying mount skill (300): The regular way to obtain the required 150 skill is to complete the respective quest chain. I tried to do that. I bought and farmed all the mats, have done the full quest chain but the last and final step doesn't work (Dire Maul). By saying "spending another 600g", I meant that the only alternative atm (as long as you guys don't help) is to purchase the 150 skill from a trainer on top (instead from quest) in order to be eligible to purchase/learn 225 to fly in outland. I hope I could clarify some stuff up. Edited September 23, 2019 by DBqFetti
