They did indeed change many things with TBC patch~es ..That also affected vanilla content, people were still doing it, my guild was for example on trollbane-eu. I personally only remember the upper part of dm E mobs would walk and downstairs where you farm flayers they would be speedwalking, I looked around youtube and other sources(RIP google video, that'd provide so much proof) and it seemed to prove my thought and belief, I am however quite very certain that they are not supposed to run very fast considering you were suppose to be able to run through the room with the NPC to open the door for last boss easily.

Doesn't really work that way, most of these characters have been botted up to necessary level or hacked, I sugest you get the addon SpamThrottle and you add keywords, if those should pop up in your chat they will get automatically ignored, temporarily or permanently. Also Nostalrius/Elysium doesn't agree that VPNs should be banned so hackers and gold sellers are free to do whatever they want, they can just change IP if they get ip banned + it's impossible to trace them. Not saying you can simply ''ban vpn'' but you'd allow specific nodes by e.g certain guilds with xx-amount of allowed connections and whatnot, might not be that hard to bypass if you're an experienced programmer or have connections to set you up, but it'd give nost/ely staff a significant upper hand and make a GM's work lot more qualitative.

Wow Emulator DB is encrypted by SHA1 encryption BUT the account you make is done through the website which is linked to the emulator, when you make an account through the website the name + password can get stored & saved, so I advise people to always change password INGAME .account(not your acc name, just account) xiaolove10 (oldpassword) xiaogold9539 xiaogold9539 (new password twice) This is a conspiracy theory but I'm pretty sure the hacking is done by Feenix. And by pretty sure I'm really not, but the only ones out there that could have the capacity to do this, SHA1 encryption takes ages to break, and former Feenix staff has mentioned that they did indeed store account information upon registration on their website, so it doesn't really matter that the emulator db is protected(typo edit) by SHA1 because they just run an automated script to mass-login on these stored accounts.

You'll be using the lvl 58 blue pvp sets, however the pve gear isn't really getting boosted until 1.5-1.6 anyway(correct me if I'm wrong, don't remember) Anyway you'll do fine in the blue pvp set, I was rank 12 when the gear update happened on Nost pvp last year and when I had the lvl 58 blue set I was doing rather well against my pve geared counterparts. Stick to pvp, but do get necessary pre-raid bis, or you'll fall behind severely
