I am rarely posting here since most of the time its pointless. But as a Darrowshire player I can tell you, Link, that is started to play on Nostalrius because it was the closest thing there was to Vanilla WoW back in 2005. It seems to me that you still work on AQ40 (I hope you use Quest/AQ20 from Valkyrie so everything on this front is already done) and there are some major bugs on the liveservers right now. In my opinion, there is no justification to work on custom content atm - most of the players don't want custom stuff anyway. Just lower the numbers. Server population is way lower than back in the Nostalrius days. Just go with blizzard numbers x3/x4 and everyone will be happy and maybe even some of the spammers on the forums will start fishing.

It is always the same. For Raids most needed are Warlocks and Heal-Shamans. For Dungeons always Tanks. Druid is always a good choice since you can tank/dps in dungeons up to 60 and then go heal for raids and only use Healing Touch Rank 4 all the time :)

Well, thats sad. Because I can't imagine playing without Luna. Guess no Focus Frame then. Do you have any plans implementing a Focus Frame into your AddOn?

Is there a way to use the "Focus Frame" Addon with Luna? Because right now the Focus Frame is in the default style :(

This. I had aggro as well and was just lucky that Sapia did some more healing than me - else I would have received the warning. We tried to run away from the boss multiple times to get out of combat again - but it just wasn't possible. As a sidenote, Sapia's (an my) aggro did not reset because he was outside of the range of Azuregos' teleport mechanic.

Well, I was expecting to read about it in the change log but good to have clarification now. We (the horde premade on Darrowshire currently ranking) also think there could have been an issue with the shutdown on Sunday to implement BWL and the pvp system because for some reason this week only half the players got into the pvp standings than the weeks before. Is there a remote chance that somehow the counted players for the pvp pool got reset with the BWL patch?

Can you confirm that you changed something on the PvP weekly decay on Darrowshire PvE?

Still remember when you spawned Kirith for us when he was stuck under the map and we couldn't finish the quest on old Elysium. Wish you all the best and thanks for all you have done for this project!

<Endzeit> wär noch eine deutsche Gilde auf dem PvP-Server und <Limited Edition> hat sehr viele deutsche Spieler auf dem PvE-Server (ist aber eine internationale Gilde) - beide Gilden sind Horde. Ich persönlich finde an diesen Privatservern gerade toll, dass man internationale Gilden hat und quasi gezwungen ist sein Englisch und Wort und Schrift zu verbessern. Viel Spaß auf Nost 2.0 edit: btw, jemand von Azshara EU hier?

Ye, PvE has to be 2nd realm. Don't forget, the PvE realm had 4k peak as well before the shutdown. Both strong horde guilds from Elysium came from the PvE-Realm. Some people here write as only 500 people played the PvE realm.

Please reconsider your position on releasing the PvE Server last. In my opinion both of the old servers should get released before the new one - in an optimal scenario Nost PvP and Nost PvE launch at the same time but I guess that is not possible. But releasing the PvE after the fresh realm is not unlikely a death sentence and tbh I don't see any reason at all to do this In any case, see you tomorrow on reddit and next sunday at the stresstest

Thank you guys for doing this for the community! I think the project should get a new name as soon as possible. Nostalrius is a really big brand and you guys should try to profit from it. My personal favorite at the moment is something like Nostalrium. 1) You keep most of the brand name - only one letter is changed. The name still has the nostalgia-component in it, which - at the end of the day - is the reason most players want to relive legacy 2) You keep a bit of yourself - the realms you guys provide should be some kind of Elysian Fields for us vanilla players after all 3) It doesnt sound as bad as Nostlysium or Elystalrius

Thank you for this great announcement. I like this server so much, it is so sad it is not blessed with a 4k population because it deserves it! You guys did a great job fixing bugs in the last two month. Of course, there is still the big pathfinding problem. Just today we pulled mobs in UBRS because our tank got thrown out of the map while fighting the beast. If you would be able to resolve this last big issue this server would be even with nostalrius - if not better - in terms of raw mechanics. Sadly, the launch was two month ago and many vanilla players already moved on and probably won't come back. I don't know how to change that but I and my guild - Limited Edition - will keep on playing and we hope to experience a great time in BWL at the end of this year

Limited Edition killed Onyxia today in the burning heat of her lair - with only 33 players - after in an incredibly long phase two! We are still looking for new recruits - especially for ranged dps and shamans. Our raidschedule is Monday/Thursday 20.30-00.00 Server Time.

Limited Edition finished Molten Core today and downed Ragnaros in our first try at all. Props to our friends from <PvP> who provided some extra damage We are still looking for especially damage dealers but all european players in general to have a full 40/40 raid someday

Well, I am pretty sure this Sunday will cost Elysium a lot of population. Most people don't visit the website and they don't know about the new realmlist. They will think the server is down and leave. And the players who know about the new realmlist experience server crashes every 20 minutes. I am afraid we will not see a four-digit population number again after this for quite a while It is sad because you guys do so much right in terms of raw develoment but all the updates and honor-resets at peak times are ridiculous

Limited Edition killed 8/10 bosses yesterday together with the guild <Legacy>. We are still recruiting players and our raidschedule is Monday/Thursday 20.30-00.00 Server Time starting to raid on our own Monday September 26.

The colorchange to grey/white is definatily an improvement. Also nice to hear the old trackers is visible again. I hope it will stay that way. /edit: Would be nice if links to the database would be shown in the new tracker like in the old with a thumbnail.

I don't like the fact that I can't access the old bug-tracker anymore. I put effort in some of the reports with good documentation and quite a lot of them aren't fixed at this point. I will not write new ones for the same issues since I would have to look again with waybackmachine for the same links, quotes and explanations for no reason. Furthermore, the old tracker contains a lot of information in general about classic wow gathered by multiple people. That knowledge should be accessable. Besides, I think the new tracker is confusing. Is there no index or register and no subcategorys to browse in? Maybe I am getting old but it looks like someone who did way to many presentations in powerpoint designed this. Is it nessecary to register anew or is the forum account synced with the tracker? Seems like I can't login.

Great changelog. Thanks Elysium Devs! However, could you elaborate the current lag-issues on the server? It feels like its getting worse everyday.
