Allowing modification of MPQs will make it possible to people to "mod-away" ingame barriers (google cthun floor hack), or make Black Lotus 10 meter high and more visible, etc. The ways you can cheat by allowing MPQ modding is endless. No. No and even more NO! No modification of game files, what so ever!

Only spam BS if you have everyone in your group close enough to recieve the buff, otherwise demo will probably be better. The BS does generate threat upon over-writing an existing BS buff so no, you do not have to remove the previous one.

I wont go into detail as to how it works as I do not know, but the anti-cheat system called "warden" does have some sort of system for checking locally stored .MPQs and detecting modifications to these. Its probably entirely legal too due to ToS or something.

Battleshout is a better alternative to generate threat on many targets. I use it for supression room in BWL with great success.
