The thing you say is TBC , here and in Blizzlike Vanilla server Improved Seal of Righteousness will not scale from Spell Damage neither from Judgement of the Crusader, the thing you try to explain doesn't work here. Also Deathbone is not yet upgraded and is very bad set currently , the other items gives fair amount of STR too , now consider that i have currently 162 STR this gives me 10% = 16 more Str or let say 32 AP and nearly 1 Block Value , next is when you get Blessing of Kings this will increase by bit more than that. SoR is 5 Damage or let say 9 Threats , you divide that to the speed of weapon (assuming it is 2.0) will grant you only 4.5 TPS and Judgement will give you 20 Damage or let say 38 (less or more) threats , divide that to 10 = 3.8 TPS + 4,5 TPS = 8.3 TPS which is imo extremely terrible. Meanwhile divine str will give you nearly 5 damage and 1 block (unbuffed) , with buffs it can go up to 7-8 damage and 2 block which is 4 TPS and 2 Block Value I'd rather choose 4 TPS and 2 Block Value instead 8.3 TPS , 1st of all you don't want to waste your mana for Judges in order to make Threats. 2nd you will still make same amount of Threats as Improved SoR via Auto Attacks. 3rd your biggest issue is surviving as Paladin and you don't want to take more damage taken and 2 Block damage maybe is not too much but in long term this can cover full Heals and risk of wipes. - This was spoken for Pre Raid Gear or less , with Raid Gear the values for Divine Str goes double higher thanks to Raid Buffs and Raid Gear - /Kind regards Killerduki

The Values shown are from Wrath of the Lich King , values for Vanilla are similar but not the same. Spell Penetration in Vanilla does not , neither in any other Expansion does not reduce the level based resistance. /Kind regards Killerduki

Because with those Judgements and Smite Priest, Warrior Tank will be unable to handle the threats while Prot Paladin will be able to do it awesome and thus boost the dps by miles. /Kind regards Killerduki
