Quite the contrary, but I expected you to miss the point on that post as well. It has become rather clear to me that you are only interested in discussing subjects with those who agree with your suggestions. Positive feedback or nothing, right? Anyone who disagrees is a rambling idiot. I'll remember this in the future and simply avoid further interactions with that functioning tumor you take for a brain.
-
If you really consider what I'm saying as "rambling" then you are rather intransigent. Never did you refuse to further discuss with me, nor have I stated that you admitted defeat at any point. Perhaps you're reading some nonexistent passive-aggressiveness between the lines. But since you decided to go through the dismissive route regarding my arguments, I too will present you with my inner edgyness, for I too can write something up in order to sound assertive in my ideas, whilst being cool and unnecessarily offensive and dismissive. Your idea is horrible and it has absolutely no place on this server, so please, stop occupying even this nonphysical space with such idiocy.

So, in a discussion regarding the possible existance of a .expoff command you expect me to provide solutions to the other unbalance issues that revolve around low level pvp? I simply followed the main issue you raised, saw what effects it would have and said it was a poor idea to implement. But sure, I'm the one not making sense.
-
Naturally you'd think me wrong because you disagree with my opinion. But please, explain your logic. I have explained mine. Simply stating I'm wrong isn't much of a discussion.
-
Discussions generally require logical connections between what is stated and the main issue at hand. None of the other unbalance issues relate to the .expoff command. Not to mention that, if anything, adding a command that will further contribute to Twinking unbalance should be immediately excluded on the basis of its' very consequences. Forcing something to change, only to have to fix the problems the very same change brings is redundant at best, and thus should not be encouraged.
-
Maybe you should've waited for today's announcement. Your video will be instantly outdated...
-
How do any of those things relate to .expoff?
-
I'ts just ganking IMO. Not much of a discussion to have here.
-
Basically this. Let's not add features that bring further inbalance.

I said this once and I'll say it again. The farmers aren't the problem, it's the buyers. Stop people from buying and you stop the market. "I wntt a tru vnila xperience omg! btrr buy 6k gs LMFAO!!11!1 I'm so gud, git gud casuls!"

DM east/DM north/ZG croc farming?

I do not work for Blizzard, but I am not deprived of cognitive capabilities and thus can and do reach logical conclusions over subjects to which I dedicate brainpower. The unbalance brought upon by these farming methods, as they were and in a long term scenario, would be rather negative for the economy of the server. Furthermore the Elysium team has to deal with a far greater population than Blizzard had per single server, thus the necessity to apply different balancing tips, maintaining the original feel from vanilla, as much as it can be preserved. Thank you for trying to pass the salt, but I have more than enough as is. -
Normalize gold gained per hour in all instanced, soloable content, with the goal of crushing gold sellers.

I'd wager the Chinese would stop gold farming if they had no one to sell to. We always point them out as the problem, but it's the people that buy gold that are the real issue on the server. Perhaps it's time to develop something to help catch more and more gold-purchasers, until there are none. -
They could recruit specifically for that function. I'm sure there would be volunteers.

Blizzlike is meant to be a philosophy, not a literal everything-must-be-as-it-was. Should vanilla never have progressed through to TBC then these spots would indeed have been nerfed to hell and back, because they do ruin the economy. It's a change for the better. -
I guess it comes down to the issue of repetition. There are a very small amount of things in life that does not feel dull if repeated enough. Aiming for more replayability is one of the possible solutions, like you suggested. But, let's not forget that this development team is emulating existing game design, they are not designers themselves. Nothing suggests they would be good at it. Also, TBC was badass, we need that working!
-
Very untrue. Class balance is a mess in retail, a lot of specs (even entire classes, RIP locks) are currently useless for the most of it. Blizzard's incompetence isn't in their ideas (to provide class balance), it's in their failure to do execute them properly.
-
The server can have both, can't it? They will finish Vanilla eventually, and if willing, they could open up a TBC realm in which you could continue your progress, maintaining the old Vanilla realm for those who wanted to stay. Sounds pretty amazing to me.
-
Oh boy, have you come to the wrong forums for this. Most people here will want to stab you based on the heretic topic of conversation you have brought up. Many here will only see you as a "retail kid" that wants free epics and an easier time to play the game. That aside, I still disagree with the overall idea, I'd rather see the server move unto TBC once it's done with Vanilla. You'll get a ret pally overhaul then (for example, of course)

Not sure if relevant, but it actually triples the tracking if I combine Questie with EnhTT, TinyT and MobInfo (unless they don't relate at all and I'm a big idiot)
-
I'm using Tinytip, Questie, extended quest log and Mob Info, as far as I know none of these have a quest information toggled on. As you can see it duplicates (it actually triples it) the quest text, but I'm not sure why. EDIT: Also, these weird numbers at the center of the screen appear sometimes, should anyone know what they are... They appear at random, usually when I target something.
-
Aw, I should have looked into the Questie thread, they're discussing it there. Thanks for bringing it up to my attention.

Having played L2 for way more years than I should have I can safely say that the WoW community, even the worst of it, vastly differs from the L2 scene. -
The amount of politics in general chat is getting out of hand.

As I see it they're making it easy for you to find the people you should ignore. If anything, this benefits you.
