Like it gives the majority that voted fresh some kind of special privilege over the people who formed the community in the first place. That is the definition of entitled. Minority doesn't matter in this case. Respect and trust does. Respect the people who made the community in the first place. Trust is given when the players are given thier server with their chars back. Majority who voted for the fresh server are not a part of that community or have not invested time in Nostalrius. As you do not understand this , I agree, arguing with you is rather pointless.

If the project wasn't Nost I would agree with you. However I think what will be more likely to happen is simply the old pvp realm losing a few thousand players (which is a good thing) and the new realm over flooding. The PVE realm will always be ok because people who don't deal well with ganks or any pvp in general will go there.

Nobody said it would stand on it's own. The playerbase is going to split between fresh and old server just like it always has. Just like when Nost released the fresh PvE realm, didn't make all the new people go to that server because it was fresh. I don't think you guys actually realise how many players these servers are going to actually attract with all the exposure Nost has been getting the past few months...

Why? What will make Crestfall fresh start any more fresh that Nost 2.0? Your impression that Crestfall, or any other private server for that matter, has even close to the same publicity that Nost has generated these past few months is beyond me. These servers are going to be packed to the brim.

Obviously didn't play on Nost. If you did then an extra 3-4 weeks after a 7 month wait is nothing. The fact that it is releasing later is also not going to make the slightest difference in the overwhelming mass of players that server is going to have. I know this might be hard for you, as an Elysium player, but listen closely. Nostalrius is waaaaaaaay bigger than Elysium ever was. There is no private server out there that has had even a fraction of the exposure Nost has created. If you think these servers will be like Kronos... or even that if only Old server releases, that the server won't be flooded (lol btw, lose 60% pop xD), then you are very very naive.

One: If you think that, after waiting 7 months after the shut down of Nostalrius (assuming you aren't just some fresh newcomer, in which case you don't really have a say in the matter) that waiting another 3-4 weeks is too much, then you are retarded. Two: If you think that 3 servers is going to be enough to host the ammount of people this project is going to get, with time, will be enough, then you are retarded. Three: I have 3 lvl 60s on Nost, Priest is BWL geared and Rogue and Shaman are both MC geared. I will be going to the fresh server because I have my own plans for this time round but I would not for one moment think to release the fresh server first. All of you cucks wanting the fresh server out first better understand that you wouldn't even be getting this damn fresh server if it wasn't for the mad, almost fanatical playerbase from the old nost server forming the community that you have here today. I said it in another thread already but I'll say it here aswell. Old PVP server launches. Load of players flock to it and pick up thier old chars or start new ones. Then 3-4 weeks down the line the Fresh server opens and all the people who wana reroll or start to join the project have a choice to join either of those. Then the PVE realm opens and carebears will flock there. Both PvP realms will most likely spill over and the PVE realm will get bigger but I wouldn't count on it reaching the size of the PvP realms. The old server will have less players than the fresh one and will diminish with time but only because it is half way through its lifecycle.

Lol. You mad? I got 1x Priest geared with BWL loot (including Rejuv Gem) 2x MC geared chars (shaman, rogue) and I will be going fresh server. You are retarded if you think you fresh newbies or "future playerbase" as you call it, who just arrived because they heard of how "cool" it would be to play on Nost 2.0 had any say in how things would go. Be grateful that you even have the opportunity of choice to play, not only on a propper vanilla server, but have a choice of 3 different servers to go too. This is how it's going to go. Old PVP server launces. People swarm to Old PVP server and it gets pumped up again with the people who wana play there and those who wana experience it. Then 3-4 weeks later (Which isn't long since the people who actually played on Nost have waited 7 months) Fresh realm opens and it gets filled up aswell. The PVE realm will then open shortly after and the carebears will go there. The Old pvp realm will loose players in time, though I highly suspect this will be a very slow process and the fresh realm will spill over. There will then be cries for "Another fresh realm omg". See this post a few months down the line. Assuming Elysium doesn't shut down because of Blizztards, we will see exactly what I have just said above. That poll is just a very small indicator for the interest that has been flooding this project. It isn't a determining factor going into the release of the realms.

Holy crap you people are so stupid. Like.. overwhelmingly stupid. You all waited 7 months with us, IF you even played on Nostalrius in the first place, and you think 3-4 weeks will make a difference? If anything the only server that might suffer is PVE one but hey guess what, the same thing will happen that happened on old Nost. "waa waa, I cant handle getting ganked. Waa waa PvP" and then they go to the PVE server. Carebears gona Carebear and PVP servers will be stuffed. There will be 3 realms. They have stated that the old PvP realm will open first. You can do what I will do and wait for the fresh PvP realm. Also, from what I read, it sounds like you only want the fresh realm opened? Get lost you selfish bastard.

Allow me to give you some insight that should quell your scepticism. Nostalrius started smallish (I personaly think it was small) with 5k online. The number didn't just appear ofc, it took a couple of months to get there but the thing is it didn't stop growing. More and more players kept coming. They were forced to change thier spawn times on certain things and even open up a PVE server. This was like a bandage. The servers kept on growing and Nost was even in the process of development for server clustering. If I was a betting man It would be pretty clear that these 3 servers will not be enough to contain the thousands of new players and old players returning and starting. Anything can happen ofc but if you think there is going to be any server shut down from the Elysium-nost teams side you are sorely mistaken.

Love it. Whipper tuber debacle was really funny while it lasted and the revenge from NOPE was even more funny.
