The reason it is relevant should be obvious. You are actively willing to spend money for in game effect. That is what gold buying does but in a different way. This server as with nost is vehemently opposed to pay to win. Buying gold is pay to win and so are special mounts. They set you apart. That's the point. If you wanted to donate to the server then donate. It's what keeps the lights on. You didn't donate. You BOUGHT.

Resto druids are one of the most sought after classes there is because no one plays them. They fit a nice niche and can do great numbers if you push yourself.

Persisting through death would make it really much more valuable. And you're right we are currently at the middle of worst of both worlds. But which would be most accurate? I guess it's possible that they change it based on timelines like other things.

Grow up and relevel. Boom you have transferred. The reason the old nost database got combined with elysium was there were literal centuries of /played racked up. Elysium has been up for 6 days. That is such a drop of nothing it's not even seriously considering and that's why they aren't. Just. Re. Level.

Funny to me. Same people who were so desperate to start playing and do anything to get in the game. These people are the ones too stubborn now to optimize their and their server's situation. So what happens? The people desperate to play are relegating themselves to DAILY wait times. Congratulations! You are actively making your life worse for yourself because you have no patience. In doing so it is forcing you to waste more time. Hopefully there's a life lesson that can be learned somewhere in there.

Holy cow you guys. Self awareness please! Rounce, here's your answer. Your friends don't want queues. They haven't started yet. Bite the bullet, move to the new server, bring your friends = no queues, happy friends, and yes you starting over. How much did you lose? A week. How much did you gain? Happy friends and no queue ever! There. Problem solved.

The decision is up to anyone currently in elysium: you can either deal with the pop and queue and hope it goes down or you can move. The team has more important stuff to do than to worry about your precious level 20 that you've had for less than a week.

The time it would take the staff to transfer characters that are less than a week old is not worth it at all. If you want to move servers then just suck it up and reroll. There's non queue so what's there to complain about.

It's definitely viable. It's what I'm doing right now. But you either need to wait to get gear to do it or have it fed to you, depending on the guild style.

The server has been open for a week. Get real. If you want to not sit in the queue you can suck it up and move now. Or you can enjoy months of whining and complaining and you'll only have yourself to blame. To me that's an easy choice.

You wouldn't believe the number of people who break the rules in the TOS. Even "good" people in good guilds do it all the time. It amazes me that people often willingly put their accounts in harms way but they do. So the amount of bans isn't excessive given the population. Don't do anything against the TOS (it's easy) and you can sleep like a baby.

If you can't handle rerolling from 20 on a fresh server to save yourself possibly hours of time saved each day (today the elysium queue was still over 3000) then maybe vanilla isn't for you. 20 literally isn't even half way to getting your mount and probably only an eighth of the way to 60 at best.

There is always an inherent 1% miss with mobs, so you may be seeing that. If you use the addon dpsmate you'll get percentages which can confirm stuff like that. I'd be curious if the miss is more than 1%.

It's just what happens on pvp servers. People like to ideolize the epic struggle of alliance and horde etc etc but the reality is that half the time it's cheap kills and the other half of the time it's cheap kills because you want the mob or the herb node more than them. Unless it's organized or a large group vs large group it's just ganking all the way down.
