New spreadsheet can be found here: Feral cat, Dynamic BiS list
-
	This spreadsheet is outdated.
-
well you can insert your own stats there, without world buffs or with world buffs. i have written down myself various combinations of my stats. with full world buffs, with only ony buff + raid buffs, without world buffs, and then completely unbuffed.

That is a very good and valid point. I didn't really pay attention to the hit value yet, but I will start working on it immediately once I have time. If you are interested in contributing in enhancing the spreadsheet, I would be glad to have more conversation in discord for example. My aim is indeed to make the spreadsheet as perfect as possible. Already now the calculations have shown that in fact agility is of much higher value than generally believed and thus will affect in enchantment choices at least, and in some occasions might affect gear choices (when not talking about naxx patch BiS gear). Thanks for comments and suggestions, I really appreciate it :) Shedo

Hi guys! Some of you may have seen me posting theorycrafting stuff about feral dps on Elysium Druid discord channel. I'm really interested in minmaxing and try to calculate every possible way of improving our dps. So, I've been working lately on this spreadsheet, that is, a BiS list for feral cats, that works dynamically. The current BiS lists are based on static stat weights (2.4 str, 2.1 agi) and include only the stat weights calculated from autoattack. However, analyzing the cat dps in more detail, we know that most of our dmg comes from Shred and Ferocious Bite and they are much more weighted towards crit, which gives agility more value. So this sheet takes into account all the 3 main dps sources in raids (Autoattack, Shred, Ferocious Bite). You insert your own stats into the sheet and the sheet calculates the relative value of 1% crit chance to Attack Power (C:AP) with your own stats. However, doing only this, the sheet would calculate every dmg source as equal, which is wrong and would lead into way too much weight on the crit/ap ratio of Ferocious Bite. So, I added a table where you can add the dmg% of each skill in boss fights for up to 10 different bosses. You can check them from either DpsMate or Legacy-Logs after raid. The sheet then gives the relative percentage of value to the Crit:AP ratio of each skill and calculates the final, total value of 1% crit chance/AP based on that. This gives us the correct stat weight to Agility and correct dps value to items with your own current stats. Hope this isn't too messy to understand. Basically, all you need to do is to download the excel file, insert your own stats + dmg source % of each skill from raid logs and then the sheet calculates the dps values to items. Best regards, Shedo <Blood Pressure> EDIT: The previous spreadsheet is outdated and a lot of improvements and fixes have been done after that. You will find the latest version of the spreadsheet from the link below. There is also a link to my Twitch channel. I stream feral cat raids, theorycrafting and sometimes pvp. yeah, i'll try to look at and write down some numbers from dpsmate next time. i usually keep clearing it too often, and cant track any of those things in realmplayer raidstats sadly

Feral is definitely better as ally due to feral's really good stat scaling. Blessing of Kings is just overpowered compared to what shaman can provide for a feral

I think I might do some testing on DMC as well now that i got it. Yesterday on Onyxia it procced 6 times in total which is pretty much (?). Only did ~2% of my dps tho. But that's just one fight and probably good luck, so have to test it more.

I'm playing as feral in our guild on Elysium. And mainly dps, boosting our top melee dps group. It's clear I can't compete with our warrs and most of our rogues, who use all consumables and world buffs (songflower, DM buffs, ony head) just like me. But I am definitely able to beat mages, warlocks and hunters on many occasions. Fights are pretty short so it's alot of rng. If u happen to crit alot and dont miss, u deal pretty good dmg. The main problem for ferals is that even a slight lag destroys the dps completely, and of course the fact that u use natural weapons and not weapons itself. About trinkets, u cannot just count how much dps one class deals compared to other when thinking about raid dps upgrades, but u should actually count how much of a dps upgrade one item is for some individual compared to others. For example, since warrs are top dps, does it automatically mean that DFT boosts their dmg the most, compared to others? Not necessarily. Classes scale differently from different items and stats, and that's something that should be taken into account when looking at items and to whom you give them.

Hand of Justice works for feral. It usually does about 1.5-2% of my total dps in boss fights when looking at Dpsmate addon.

actually 3 of us died at ony entrance (including me :D). but guess we had the advantage there since half of us came from inside the instance and half from outside
-
You caught us by surprise nicely at the burning steppes entrance :) Got you later at ony entrance tho

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjSe4Z6R4CI I'm Shedo, an officer in the Finnish guild Blood Pressure on Elysium PvP realm, Alliance side. I'm playing Resto Druid, which I have played for ~8 years as main on retail, from vanilla until the launch of MoP. I will be streaming PvP, solo and premades, probably weekly raids and sometimes just some random stuff like 5-man instances or whatever, even as interesting stuff as farming herbs. Constructive feedback is always welcome. Cheers, Shedo
