I never looked at dungeon groups technically like this. I learned what each class/spec played like by playing with them. Sometimes you really want a particular class for some encounters, but usually you can get by with what you got. The fun is figuring out how you're going to do things with the composition of the group. Also, any tank can tank all vanilla dungeons. I'm always healer and I like playing wth all of them. Strategizing overall I like this: Everyone should be self-aware and aware of the entire party's positions at all times. Tank marks and if not, all others are watching target of target. Tank moves methodically and at a steady pace and is always aware of mana bars. DDs focus tank target generally speaking. Don't aggro mobs with aoe outside pulls, don't butt pull, don't wander off or start tanking other mobs : ) Healer focuses tank but is aware of entire party at all times, uses mana wisely, balances aoe heals with tanks needs. With CCs, I really prefer if the tank calls them out except for in those instance where something unsuspecting occurs. Really, every run is different. It's organic and evolving. Having different group compostions makes it entertaining. It's also a learning experience every time. We learn a little more about ourselves and in our attunment to the party, we are learning tendencies and better discovering how to serve each other. I find running dungeons over and over with guildies is really super cool. Because we are so aware of each other, we know what any party member is likely to do next and that's kinda thrilling. I guess I'm saying, for me...a technical-clinical approach to dungeoning doesn't succeed much except for in actual mob/boss mechanics. : ) and vanilla dungeons are my absolute favorite thing about ths game.

I'm gonna play old Nost so hardcore, so old school-I'm gonna bust into my mom's house and play in the basement on a crappy old desktop with the goddamn cat crawling all over my head. Can't wait.

They aren't ignoring the fresh realm, what they are doing is planning for it's success. How many different ways ya need it explained fer crying out loud??? New reasons why the fresh realm comes out after the other realms: A. A top notch psychic was conferred with and it was foretold, in no uncertain terms, the planets would align in a fashion bestowing great fortune on the fresh realm if it came to be after the old realms. B. Because my dog ate it. C. Because, that's why. D. The popcorn machine is plugged into that outlet and popcorn is higher on the priority list right now. E. Someone has to go ahead and remove all the porn from that machine, because there ain't enough room. It's gonna take awhile. F. Because it's irritating the crap out of Tudi, and if nothing else, the staff luvs to troll. : P

Hm, all we talked about was resolution issues. I swear there was something else like a mouse bug, probably discussed in a different thread somewheres. But that resolution issue could be remedied by copying your mac config file to the windows version before you wrap it up. It's very good that we can have an honest and constructive dialog like this about that which is a sensitive topic to many. it bodes very well for our forthcoming community. : )

I didn't find ganking or endlessly camping to be particularly compellng game play or in any way immersive. Quite the opposite. I did develop some honest-felt animosity towards some opposite faction players when we were undertaking competitive tasks. Particularly herb collecting in plaguelands. Man there was some hard feelings for sure that made the game feel very real and very dangerous. Corpse running from far away GYs over and over makes the game boring, dull, and listless.

Happy to see that self absorbed turd nugget get demolished. Sometime you can PvP rank more effectively on PvE server, but usually as horde. For whatever reason, I had a lot more kills on PvE server than PvP in BGs and with a smaller pool. I ran into massive bottleneck around r9. But it was pretty much the same for me as ally.
