could be a bug or something, some people did use lvl 1s as banks so they would be pretty upset to lose those banks if they dont transfer over.

It's happening guys! the time is upon us! Here are some last minute tips to keep in mind if you are new to the vanilla experience. level first aid, even if you are a class that won't use it, you never know if you decide to level an alt that would really appreciate runecloth bandages at a low level haha, or even for your 5man groups. visit vendors as often as possible, bag space will be a big deal for new people, keep that space as clean as possible. Make use of your bank early and try not to just delete it, those copper and silver add up and sometimes are all you need to buy that next talent. don't just learn all your talents! if you have a spec in mind, try to only learn those talents as eventually talents become very expensive to learn. especially if you are a class that has a lot of talent choices. I would suggest pick up alchemy, as potions are VERY helpful while leveling, but if all 1,000 of you did that, then realistically you would all spend more time looking for herbs that arent there than leveling. So go with whatever you want. Hold onto extra quest items you may have, as you can sell those off to people in the same quest area for a few extra silver, saves them time and you get a bit extra coin! Be nice! remember, you can't just name change your toons or run away to a new server anymore, unless you start over fresh. First impressions are a big deal on the PvE server and we remember the douche bags!

here is the thing, if you want to ninja loot, do it.. but..... be warned. be.. VERY.. warned vanilla communities are good at pointing out the people who do this. Ninja looting risks becoming black-listed by a big portion of the server you play on. basically the only way to recover from it is to start over again on a new toon.

When you guys say no gambling, does this apply to party/raid only "gambling"? for instance GCG gambler is one of my favorite addons that has the lowest roller pay the highest roller the difference, very simple addon but fun nonetheless. Is it fine to play these kinds of games within your own party? Also, about reporting other players. what is the best way to report multiboxers? would it be to submit a ticket via game or on the forums?

ya in BC it took a few weeks but eventually me and 4 other randoms from trade became inseparable from each other for 5mans. We all clicked and worked hard to tackle all the heroics as fast as we could every week. We were very happy to complete shadow labs within an hour in the gear we had (all heroic/normal gear)

everyone knows US time-zones are the only ones that matter lol

ya not vanilla, back on retail, during panda, would do typical 25k rolls, that escalated until the last roll was 250 or 500k, i couldnt afford the 500k rolls, only 2 people do that one lol

ya =/ which is too bad. I remember me and the richest people in my guild would have 1 250k roll at the end of every raid week haha.

I knew it once before but its a been a while and I forgot. I did search these forums but perhaps I it was addressed under criteria words i didnt think to search. So sorry if it has been answered before. is it 10 or higher? Just curious because I already have 8 characters. I want to make others but I Don't want to make too many, hit the cap and then be annoyed I have to create a second account. I know the accounts are free but it would still be a lot more convenient to do everything off 1 account.

but you LFG takes out a social aspect of the game, you just hit a button, get into a group and fly to the dungeon. before LFG you at least had to say "inv" lol, an MMO isnt an MMO without community, and a community is nothing if the people in the community don't interact

i agree, the TBC model was pretty damn perfect, and wrath would have been an even better expansion under the TBC model. Blizzards first slip into the darkness was LFG que, even tho it didnt summon you at first, it began the slippery slope into shittiness we all know.

while I will encourage members of my guild to participate, Most of the people who participate are random members of the realm, this is something designed to get new people to interact with each other in a fun and interesting way.

It's never too late, especially if your end-game is to hope to play on a really good TBC realm, albeit that is years away. I know im mainly waiting for TBC to roll on through the PvE server, I dont care if it takes 4 years lol. Ill use this time wisely to prepare haha.

It would be a good idea to get onto a vanilla server now, just to set up addons and things like that. will save you some time for when the real fun begins!

ill be streaming a lot once PvE server comes back up I like to farm on my mage, gear up my prot pally for unique farming, level all kinds of toons, raid, play AV. Like to offer low lvl dungeon clears and such. I do a lot and have a pretty good general knowledge base about vanilla, so watch and hit me up with any questions.

I leveled a bit via mob tagging on nost, I even openly looked for people in trade to do it. So I dont think you can get banned for it. I would hire a 60 to gather mobs, I do an aoe on them, he finishes them off. I usually paid 30g an hour for this service, did it a few times. No GMs ever asked me to stop or gave me any warnings, but as far as i know they could have just never noticed me.

why would you request a sticky for a single set of boss fights? why not consolidate EVERY fight instead of a single thread for each one?
