yes, Lupos is overall the best pet for leveling / PvE, due to its attacks ignoring armor. Also pretty good in PvP, for that reason. Can tear right through warriors / paladins no problem.

Legion wasn't bad, until I cleared all the content and had nothing else to do besides repetitive world quests. I mean sure, I can't expect Blizzard to keep up with my rate of consumption, but still, even with the AP grind ingame, there's still not much to do outside of dungeons and world quests, once you've cleared the raids that week. And the dungeons and world quests already became stale and repetitive, before the second raid tier released. The thing that annoyed me the most is Blizzard's continued struggle with class balance. Some classes are just way behind others, lots of talents that are completely fucking garbage, even legendary items that are complete garbage and took 5+ months for blizzard to fix. There's just so many things that make me think "how the fuck did this make it through alpha, let alone beta??" it feels like we're playing a never-ending beta, rather than a complete product. And of course, retail in general has just been dumbed down and filled with instant gratification. Gearing is super fast and easy, the gear itself has no flavor to it because it's all just the same secondary stats with nothing special, item quality literally means nothing anymore, only ilvl (a green and epic with the same ilvl will have the same exact stats), dungeons are super straight-forward AoE fests, there's no challenge to ANYTHING outside of high m+ and heroic/mythic raids, etc. The game feels more like World of Diablocraft than World of Warcraft. Vanilla and retail are pretty much completely different games, at this point.

King Gordok Teleportation

Increasing price of a single item is not "inflation", that's supply and demand. The issue is that the supply is being monopolized by a single group who then jacks the price up because there's no competition. Inflation is an increase of price for EVERYTHING, not just one item. And yet you accuse other people of being "wannabe economists", top fucking kek If you're so knowledgeable about the "right" way to run a private server, go ahead and start your own. :) -
Reminder that vanilla realms were often capped at 2.5k players 3k is not "dead"
-
Yeah, Imp. Aspect of the Hawk is kinda not necessary for leveling. I stay in Cheetah full time, and equal-level mobs go down in 15 seconds or less. In my experiences, Imp Hawk procs are way too random, too often proccing when the mob is almost dead. It rarely procs when you need it.

Reasons you *should* make a character on Zeth'Kur

Bruh, it's like 5am server time. All of EU is asleep. Elysium gets up to 8k on weekdays, and goes over 10k on weekends. Have fun on the insanely overcrowded realm. -

I've seen it up at 6k, yes. -

Since when is 4-5k online considered a "small population" ? Most vanilla servers struggle to hit 500 online during peak hours. And if you ask me, when a server has 8k+ online, the population just becomes overwhelming. Yeah, it's easy to find groups for things, but every single zone is overflowing with players, and questing can be impossible in some places, not only due to the lack of mobs, but due to rampant ganking. Vanilla wasn't designed to handle that many players at once. -
>tfw no heinously overcrowded zones >tfw no 60s running around ganking everyone on sight >tfw no faggots who kill you while you're fighting a quest mob >tfw no devilsaur mafia >tfw no server lag caused by high population >tfw barely any gold spammers because most of them moved to the higher pop realms feels good man

I always had issues getting PowerAuras to work in vanilla, even though I've used the addon extensively on retail, throughout the years.

AV Win Quest - Ice Barbed Spear, ingame yet?
gotmilk0112 posted a topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
I can't seem to find any solid information about this. The quest for a single AV win that rewards the blue weapons (Ice Barbed Spear, etc), is that quest released alongside AV, or is it released with a later patch? For Darrowshire. -

With the rewards intact? -
I tried Fury at ~45 and found it to be just the same speed as Arms, if not slower. Except you have to fuck around with sit-critting which gets tedious pretty quickly. If you were truly doing "half as much" DPS with Arms, you were doing something very wrong.
-
That's the joke.
-
There is nothing that will rebuff your weapon for you, that would count as automation and thus would be bannable. There is an addon however called "WeaponRebuff" which will play sounds and pop up text when your weapon buff has 1 minute left, and again when your weapon buff expires. You can also use the addon "MoveAnything" to move the weapon buff frame to a place where you can see it.
-
If you want to gimp yourself with barely-noticeable health regen instead of movespeed or focus regen, go right ahead.
-
Haven't had any d/c's on Darrowshire.
-
I don't see why Lupos would be nerfed only in PvP, unless it was a stealth change by the admins. Try with other classes.
-
Eh, dunno. Nobody else has reported anything like this, as far as I can tell. Were you forgetting Furious Howl, perhaps? It is true that Lupos' damage can be resisted (and even completely resisted, he does no damage against mobs that are Shadow immune) but the Shadow damage should be bypassing armor.
-
..."aoe threat" ? The healing from it does not cause threat. Even if it did, that is an absolutely tiny amount of healing threat that will not hold anything, being that healing threat is split between all mobs. And again, the hp/5 is completely negligible. Even if your pet has 4000 health, that's only 80 healing every 10 seconds. You won't even notice it.
-
Spirit Bond is pretty crap. The hp/5 it gives is negligible. Those two talent points are much better spent on Bestial Swiftness or Bestial Discipline.
-
Hell if I know. Maybe he had shadow resistance? I can't think of any reason why Lupos would ignore armor on everything except bear druids.
-
You sure the druid didn't have some kind of damage reduction outside of armor? Lupos *does* deal Shadow damage. He's doing exactly the tooltip damage, for me. Tooltip: 72 - 93 +20% from talent and +5% from Orc racial would yield "91 - 117" Which is exactly what he hits for, on any mob. Even on the rock elementals in Badlands which have VERY high armor, he still hit for the same damage.
-
^Pretty much, yeah. WW Axe gets upgraded by Executioner's Cleaver, Stoneslayer, Kang the Decapitator, or Rockpounder. But honestly I'd avoid maces unless you're going Fury. Mace spec is pretty fucking useless for leveling.
-
Hunter leveling is pretty much BM or GTFO. MM isn't bad, it's just that BM is so much better.
