Changing your password frequently is a basic way to ensure that your account never gets compromised. If Elysium's database was "leaked", don't you think we'd be seeing a mother fuckton of people posting that they were hacked? Take off the tinfoil hat.

They've been reminding players to change their password for a long time now. Putting a preventative measure in place does not mean something bad has happened. It's supposed to prevent bad things from happening in the first place.

In my experience, full Enh is the fastest way to 40. I tried leveling going Resto first for the 3% hit and then going into Enh, and then at 34 I tried respeccing full Enh and found it to be so, so much faster. Didn't even really notice the lack of 3% hit.

Fishing pools weren't introduced until patch 1.9 on retail.

You won't be accepted into raids as Enh unless you have a Nightfall. And even then, you might still get rejected because the raid can just have offtanks swing Nightfall when they're not tanking. Ele is kind of in the same situation...you'll have a really hard time getting into raids unless you've got godly gear. Which is nigh impossible with so many mages/warlocks getting it first. If you're a hybrid class, trying to NOT heal in raids is going to be quite difficult.

Arcane Missiles is supposed to work like that. If a mage casts it on you, it will continue the channel even if you move out of range. That's blizzlike.

^My favorite is how Blizzard themselves stated that they want item level to be the sole factor in determining if an item is an upgrade or not. So if you get a higher ilvl item, it will always be an upgrade, regardless of the stats on it. okay, so...why the fuck do we still have secondary stats, if ilvl is supposed to be king? I'm half expecting that next expansion, they're going to just outright remove secondary stats from gear, or have them baked into the item level.

Grounding Totem makes Emp a joke. He uses an ability that does like 1500 damage and stuns, but Grounding Totem will absorb it. If you time the totem CD correctly, you can absorb almost every single one he does.

And having to heal yourself more often = more drinking = more downtime. And on a PvP server, no shield = you get wrecked faster by enemy players

Frostbrand is terrible DPS. Don't use it. Rockbiter is better.

I will agree that the automatic muting system in place is kind of obnoxious. If you even say the word "gold" anywhere, you get auto-muted for who knows how long. (people are saying 30min) Gold spammers don't even use the word "gold", they use "G" next to a number. Auto-muting specific words isn't exactly going to stop spammers, they'll just use different words. First "gold" then "g0ld" then "g00ld" then "go!d" etc etc.

No, I pointed out a hilarious Engrish sentence I received from a gold spammer mail. And since I said "gold spammer", it muted me. I think it was something like "We secure a web site to you" and then the URL of the site.

I played on the 12x server for a month or so, and on their TBC server for 3-4 months. Nothing else outside that.

There's only a few spots where that's really noticeable, IIRC. And even so, I'm pretty sure it's just hard-coded into the game, there's no real way to change it without modifying the MPQs or the client.

You just use whatever you have the best weapon for. If your best weapon is a dagger, use Flametongue + shield. If your best weapon is a 2h, use Windfury. There's really no "best" choice. Windfury kills faster ON AVERAGE, but is subject to the RNG of Windfury procs. Flametongue kills somewhat slower, but lets you use a shield for much more survivability, and you don't have to rely on random procs.

You shouldn't be using "of healing" pieces while leveling. Hell, you shouldn't really be using them at all, outside of chest/legs and wand for Priests. Back on nost forums, people calculated that Int is much better for short fights, and 5mans are nothing but short fights. Dropping int for +heal is going to provide less healing overall.

I'm only having issues with freezing; absolutely 0 problems with FPS or performance.
