Is it just me, or do herb spawns seem really low? I'm on Darrowshire, and whenever I go to farm Dreamfoil in Azshara, there's almost nothing. I've got all the spawn points added in Gatherer, and I take a route from Valormak all the way up through the northern half of the zone, passing by every spawn point along the way. I never find more than 3 nodes. And then when I go back along that route, nothing is respawned and I don't find any more nodes. I check /who and there's only 2 other people in the zone. Check /who on the other faction and there's only 3. Am I doing something wrong, or are the herb spawn rates just really low?

The problem is that it is too easily abused. ONE person can just go down your post history and downvote every single one of your posts, and now you have a negative sign on every post you make, because one buttmad kid decided to indiscriminately downvote everything you post. I went from 58 reputation to 10 reputation in just two days, because of a couple of angry children.

I didn't use the 1.12.1 addon collection. I downloaded Gatherer separately and manually added the Dreamfoil spawns in Azshara, from Vanillagaming. I have not found a single Dreamfoil outside of any of those spawn points from Vanillagaming. /shrug

No, it's not. I didn't import someone's gatherer DB, I looked up the spawns on Vanillagaming and manually added them into Gatherer. I have not found a single Dreamfoil spawn outside of the positions listed here: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?object=176584

You can get 3-7 Night Dragon's Breath every 25 minutes and keep them after logging out, compared to 1 lily root every hour that disappears if you're logged out for 15 minutes. :p

Night Dragon's Breath is free; you can farm 4 salve required for it in under 5 minutes, then cure one plant and keep looting it every time it respawns. I'm not sure if it's a bug, but when you cure one of the corrupted Felwood plants, the next 6 to 8 times that it respawns, it will respawn as a "cleansed" plant, and you can just loot it without salve. So you use the salves once to cleanse it, then wait 25 minutes for it to respawn and loot it again, another 25 minutes, loot it again, etc. I'm not sure exactly how many times it respawns as cleansed before it goes back to being corrupted, but it's at least 5 or 6 times.

Also, you can use it to test things out for certain classes at certain levels, with certain gear/items.

You can join the world chat with "/join world", but you can't actually chat in it until level 10 or 11. There are plenty of guilds that spam advertisements there.

You can multibox a mage alt to give you food/water, as long as that mage alt stays inside a city/town.

Don't look at the happiness meter on the pet info screen. It's bugged and always shows as happy. Get "PetFeeder" addon, it'll properly show your pet's current mood. Most unitframe addons properly show it as well. I THINK the default UI pet unitframe shows it, but I'm not sure. The only reason your pet will randomly disappear from you is if you didn't feed it enough. If you just tamed a pet, it will be at the lowest loyalty level, and you have to feed it like every 5-10 minutes or it runs away.

Then add those new macros to SpamThrottle. Easy. They don't change macros every day. I've been adding each new spam that I get, and like I said, I haven't gotten a whisper in weeks.

That will never realistically happen. If people stopped buying gold, it would just keep getting cheaper and cheaper and cheaper; 100g for $5, then 150g for $5, then 300g for $5... Eventually, some dumbass will be tempted to buy gold. It's inevitable. The best we can do is permaban anyone involved in buying/selling gold, and do our best to slow the in-game spam.

Have you tried disabling all other addons except CoE / Chronos, just to make sure that it's not another addon interfering? Also, there are two different .lua and .lua.bak files for CoE, one in the account / savedvariables folder, and another in the character / savedvariables folder. Try deleting them both.

It's not a bad item, it's just a really small benefit, compared to how much effort it requires. Only restores a little more mana than a Night Dragon's Breath, but requires you to spend 30-50g on an item, keep it in your bags, remember to equip it, wait that tedious 30 seconds to use it, and then wait that hour cooldown for another one. And you can't stockpile them because conjured item. I've got it myself, and using it is just another thing that I have to keep track of and remember to do every hour. Sure, free consumable, but it's still tedious. 200 extra mana isn't going to be the difference between a kill and a wipe. If mana was that big of an issue, I'd be using runes, not lily roots.

Huh. Weird. For me, it didn't work at first and I had to delete the .lua and .lua.bak files in the WTF folder and it worked fine after that. Haven't had any issues with it since then.

Do you have the dependency for it? (Chronos) Do you have the right version? I'm using the one downloaded from here: http://www.vanilla-addons.com/dls/callofelements/

Because barely anyone runs Scholo, and the drop rates are super low. Most scholo runs, you only get 2, maybe 3 rune drops. It's much easier to just go and farm satyrs in felwood. Even with the low drop rate, at least you can make decent cash from selling runecloth/felcloth/greens. And there's a Night Dragon Breath and Whipper Root Tuber spawn point at the northern satyr area.

Yep, not sure why they even re-enabled it. First it was here, then they disabled it after people complained, then when the forum got a makeover it came back, but was swiftly disabled again...can we get some word from an admin as to why it's suddenly re-enabled? Just leads to angry kids going through your post history and downvoting everything, like what is happening to me and Theloras now. I was at 58 rep a couple days ago, and now I'm down to 16.

Simply applying dynamic respawn to herbs would also be a nice solution. Herbing feels terrible because I go through half the zone and only find 2-3 herb nodes. And then when I go back along that path, nothing has respawned.

Lots of spawn timers in vanilla are really long. That's vanilla for you.

Gold buyers are literally contributing to spam, bots, and account hackings. And you want them to just get a slap on the wrist? lol Being ignorant to the server's rules is not a defense. You break the rules, you get banned. They already get a slap on the wrist because even if they get banned for buying gold, they're still free to create a new account and keep playing. Most other servers would IP ban you for buying gold. stop defending gold trafficking, you dingus.
