Servers are not being shut down you dingus, they're just renaming them and using a different core.

Really, there's no wrong choice. All of the racials are good. Orc has their OP stun resist and short DPS cooldown, Troll has berserking, and Tauren has short AoE stun. They're all nice.

Mmhm, they've had the core long enough that any/all fixes from the Nost core will be copy-pasted into whatever new core this is.

Yeah, seriously. People forget that the entire fucking point of this project was to revive Nost characters/accounts. That was the biggest reason; the "fresh" servers are just a bonus side project. All of the hype for this server was "nost relaunch! getting old nost characters back!" ...and not even 1 month later, they want to delete it all? What the fucking fuck. Something fishy is definitely going on here.

Get a mail addon. Things like CT_MailMod and such will automatically delete mails that are just text and no attachments. I'd much rather get mails instead of whispers/guild invites.

No, DPS shaman is not good in raids. Ele/Enh do mediocre DPS and do not bring anything that a Resto shaman can't. In fact, Resto shaman provides more utility through Mana Tide. "just normal questing and dungeon" You'll be fine for those, just not raiding.

I've not had any problems with the older /script commands for startattack macros. On my warrior, that is.

For some reason, this quest: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=8551 is not being offered to me at all. I'm level 43 now, and it's supposed to be available at 35. I was able to do it on my Alliance character, but it is not being offered to my Horde character.

I'm only posting here because the bug tracker seems to be 404'd at the moment.

Went to secure my alt's name and ended up leveling to 32 so far. Was wondering if Windfury on a slow 2h is better than fast 1h Flametongue + shield? For 1-29, I was using a dagger and Flametongue, and it worked out pretty well. Could get blue daggers really cheap on the AH. Windfury also seems to be working out, but I'm a bit frustrated at the RNG of the procs. Sometimes I go through an entire mob without getting a single proc, and then other times it procs 3 times on a single mob. Is Windfury limited by any PPM system, or is it truly "20% chance on hit", no matter what? Currently rocking a Windweaver Staff that I snagged for cheap off the AH, and I'm going to run SM Lib to get the Illusionary Rod, then Armory to get Ravager. If it makes any difference, I'm specced Resto (for the 3% hit talent) and as such, I'm only on the 2nd tier of Enhancement talents at the moment. (ghost wolf, and crit talent) I did do a bit of Googling and one person said that it all depends on what your best weapon is; that if your best weapon is a dagger, go with Flametongue, and if your best weapon is a slow 2h, go with Windfury. Does that sound about right?

The 1-5 areas are not their own zones, they are just part of the 1-10 zones. Even if you're going to argue that "starting zone" is only places like Northshire Abbey and Coldridge Valley...really doesn't make it any better, because now the situation is that someone spawned an infernal right outside that "starter zone", and it's still preventing people from doing anything.

An infernal was summoned in an initial starting zone, right in an area where it would cause trouble for tons of people. That's griefing.

Vanilla addons can't track exact timers of debuffs. They can make a faux timer based on the time that you cast the spell, but they cannot accurately track debuff durations on a target. That said, Chronometer might work with Judgement of Light/Wisdom. At least, it seems to work for most other buffs/debuffs.

So many pull-happy tanks that run off into the next pack when I'm at 15% mana and drinking.
