Mind Flay applies its slowing debuff when you cast it. IIRC the damage and slow are separate from each other, because you can use Mind Flay in raiding, and while the slow debuff will get knocked off, the damage ticks will still go through. So it makes sense that a druid would be able to shift out of the Mind flay slow and not get slowed by the 2nd and 3rd ticks.

I tried tanking a Deadmines last night, and it was rather hectic, though mostly because I was rage starved 90% of the time. (and because Battle Shout is bugged and doesn't generate threat...) Is this just because I'm level 20, and it gets better at later levels, or...?

Yeah, after level 25-30 or so, tanking became much easier.

Dafuq is going on? We had that "maintenance" that lasted literally 5 seconds, and the server has been crashing every 5-10 minutes ever since.

Are you sure you're not looking at Wowhead comments from TBC onward? Lots of the comments loaded into Extended Quest Log are from TBC, when exp from quests was buffed by quite a bit.

View distance seems fine on PvE server, but that's prob because it's capped at 6k players.

It's not bullshit. You're now able to force them to shapeshift with one of your cheapest spells. Keep spamming that MF and forcing them to shift, and OOM them. Druid rekt.

DoTs aren't causing spell pushback. I've had multiple poison DoTs on me before, didn't get any pushback from them.

Yeah, Herb/Alch is really great, because potions make your life so much easier as a Warrior. Especially if it's your first character. You can farm your own herbs and make tons of potions for yourself.

To be fair, Elysium has only been open for 2 weeks now. And it HAS been stable, outside of hiccups like these.

Why even compare them? It's not like you can play both on the same faction. Both are great heals, both have tons of desirable buffs, and both scale pretty well with gear.

If people stop buying gold, the prices will just drop more and more and more until some idiot is tempted to buy. "$3=50G" will just become "$3=100G" and then "$3=200G" and eventually "$3=1000G" etc. It's rather difficult to get EVERYone to stop buying gold. Only way we can do that is by being so vigilant on banning everyone involved in gold selling (buyers and sellers) to the point where people know that it's impossible to buy gold without getting banned.
