Again, not using the same password over and over again for similar products/websites is Password Security 101. /shrug The admins don't have time to deal with hundreds of people crying that they were "hacked" and demanding their account be restored. They clearly say when you register your account, to use a strong password and don't use the same password from other private servers. And like others said, it's impossible to tell the difference between a real player requesting an account restore, and a gold seller requesting an account restore. Nice job making a ridiculous comparison and using it to argue against me. But yes, if you get so absolutely piss-drunk that you can't even fight back against someone, that's your own fault. You willingly decided to consume that much alcohol, and as such, you have to deal with the consequences. You can't be bailed out by someone else, for a bad decision you made. And likewise, if you use a weak password and/or keep using the same password across multiple servers, it's not the admin's job to cover your ass, that's your own fault for being a dumbfuck and not abiding by basic password security measures. Admins warned everyone to reset their passwords. And again, using the same exact account name and password across multiple servers is a bad idea. /shrug It's not "victim blaming" if the problem was wholly and easily preventable in the first place. It's not the admins' job to fix compromised accounts, it's the player's job to not use the same username/password on every server.

Is there any addon that can play a sound when an ability comes off cooldown, or is usable? I'd love to have a sound play when Overpower is usable, for example. MSBT shows a little pop-up notification, but a sound would catch my attention a lot easier.

There are way too many bots for manual chat bans to really be effective. You block chat from 1 bot and within the hour, 5 more will have been created.

I'm not talking about the topic in general, just replying to that person's whine about "omg pottu won't restore hacked accounts!!".

It's the person's fault for having bad security on their account in the first place. The stickied comment puts it nicely: "The account did something concrete and undeniably bannable, and since you (and only you) are responsible for your account security, getting hacked is not an excuse." Your account can't just get "hacked". You can't just push a button and "hack" your way into someone's account. You have to acquire their password by some means, usually keyloggers, or in this case, account info from other private servers getting leaked, and people being dumb enough to use the exact same username/password across multiple private servers. Just like how the admins do not handle "ninja" complaints, they do not handle "hacked account" complaints because it'd take a shitload of time and effort for something that could have been prevented in the first place.

One thing I've been wondering is, do higher ranks of Sunder/Revenge/Demo Shout generate more threat? You say "315 threat, 355 from AQ book", but you then say you're talking about leveling. I'm confused.

I currently use RageTracker, but there seems to be no way to lock the bar's position, and I keep accidentally moving it. Are there any other movable resource bar addons?

Oh boy, another "wahh wahh I got banned for (insert normal thing here) !!!!" story. GMs don't just ban you on a whim. If you got banned, that means they were able to confirm that you were doing something against TOS.

Now that I've got a mount, I'm noticing that being in Booty Bay does not dismount you. You can ride all around the place and it won't dismount you. You can't mount up while in BB, but if you mount up outside and run into town, you can stay mounted all around the place. This is actually pretty ni- I mean NOT BLIZZLIKE! NOT BLIZZLIKE! FIX IT NOW! NOT BLIZZLIKE!

Boats always did that IIRC. Most private servers had BB properly dismount you; this is the first I've seen that doesn't do it. Feels good man

Battle Shout is generating almost no threat whatsoever. It's only generating enough threat to pull the mobs to you if someone else facepulled. That's why I and others think it's bugged.

And it's not included on Curse of Elements / Shadow, so it doesn't get that +10% damage that other classes do.

No, Druids are actually one of the best and most versatile PvP classes. You can shred clothies pretty easily, and /lol at Mages who try to kite you. You can outlast melee damage with your heals, keep them away with Roots, etc. Druid is really good in PvP, just has a pretty high skill cap because you have a mother ваууton of spells AND shapeshift forms to handle. Druid is pretty much the most complex class in the game, when it comes to PvP.

People seem very knowledgeable about specs to use while leveling, but I rarely see people actually describe what you're supposed to do during combat. Like, what stance to be in, how to approach mobs, what rotation / priority to use, etc. Right now I'm 41 and Arms spec, and I'm wondering, should I be in Battle Stance or Berserker Stance, for most of the time? Typically I just stay in Battle all the time, Charge in and then autoattack / MS / Overpower until the mob is dead. Sometimes finishing with an Execute. Does that sound about right? Should I sit in Berserker, however? I've got my bars set up so I can easily swap between the two stances for things like Overpower and Pummel. I'm just not sure if the 3% crit outweighs the 10% increased damage taken, in the long run.

Exactly what are you talking about? Looking over the front page, and browsing through some of the comment threads, I can't find any of what you're whining about.

It's just not good. Even with stacked buffs, Ret paladin for imp Crusader and such, you won't do much DPS and you'll OOM even faster than a Shadow priest. In PvP, you could pair up with a Ret paladin and have him judge Crusader to buff your Smite against enemies, but in PvE, not really viable at all.

Also seems to be happening with Intercept, so it seems there's a problem with the charge mechanic scripting in general.
