I actually had someone try this on me, back in BC retail. AFK'd for a minute on the road in Arathi, came back to find a level 10 rogue flagged for PvP, jumping all around me and running back and forth. Even being the noob I was, I knew that фекал was a trap to get me PvP flagged, and that a 70 would likely jump out and 1shot me.

Felstriker proc rate is 2% or 3%, IIRC.

You can twink just fine without exp lock. You just have to plan better and for dungeon drops, have someone else clear everything up until the boss you need.

I'd like to respec Arms, but I'm just afraid that it's going to be slower than Fury. As it is right now at level 34, my rotation goes: Charge -> Autoattack -> Sit-crit -> 2nd Autoattack -> Slam -> Slam -> Autoattack -> Execute And this kills equal-level mobs 90% of the time, unless I get lots of misses/parries or something. Tactical Mastery would be lovely, as would be the increased rage from Charge and crit on Overpower, I'm just concerned that Mortal Strike won't outweigh the free 25% damage from Enrage.

I'm not sure the devs can make any solution for this. To my knowledge, there's no way to put a level limit on "inviting other people to a chat channel". Now all we need is a way to filter that obnoxious system yellow text that they sometimes spam you with, and we'll be good.

Huh. Did they really fix it so that you can't buy auctions from your own account? IIRC Blizzard did not make that change until sometime in Wrath, or late TBC.

Actually only one- I'm looking for a movable rage bar that can be locked. Currently using RageTracker, but there appears to be no way to lock its position, and I keep accidentally moving it.

Seems the chinese gold farmers have found a new way to spam: Inviting you to chat channels. Instead of whispers, I'm now getting invites to chat channels named after whatever gold spam site they're advertising. SpamThrottle doesn't block it because it's technically not chat.

You went that far back through my post history on another forum and dug up that random post. Nice.

You can do that, but then they'll just use different words, or start using accented letters, or symbols, or whatever they have to, in order to get around the blocker. That's why you'd see spam messages like "www.b|_|yg0!d.c0/\/\!!" and such. Even if you go to extremes like disabling whisper/yell/chat channels until level 15, then they just go and stand in the auction house and spam their message in /say. Chinese gold farmers are a tenacious bunch.

I'm not saying gold farmers don't farm, I'm saying they farm AND hack accounts. Breaking DM isn't going to stop gold farmers, they'll just flock to the next best gold farming spot and we're back to square one, with nothing changed except lots of legitimate players having one less spot to farm gold. There is no 100% effective way to completely stop gold sellers/farmers. The best we can do is ban them and their networks.

Not sure what's going on, but every single time I log in, my Minimap zoom level gets reset to about halfway between most and least zoomed. This didn't happen on Kronos or the old Nost; what's causing it here?

His point was that gold sellers don't JUST farm gold, they just break into peoples' accounts and steal their gold. Why farm 10 hours to get 300 gold when you can just phish for account information and steal 2000 gold in 1 minute?

For the longest time, all I had known about PvE Shadow is that it does crap DPS and is only brought to raids for Shadow Weaving and dispels. But now I'm learning that they're actually half-decent DPS, even when just using Mind Blast and Mind Flay. Main thing that worries me is getting gear in raids. Every single piece of spell damage gear is going to go to mages/warlocks first, so I'd have to see an item drop like 8 times before I can finally get it. Or should I just forget raids and go melt faces in PvP? That's another thing I've not done much of, in vanilla. I've always wanted to try Shadow in vanilla, but thus far, have only healed at max level.

You can't stop chinese farmers from farming. Literally, people in Korea and China are paid to play WoW and farm gold. No matter what you nerf, they will continue doing whatever is the highest gold/hour.

Mmyeah, went back to Fury and Rend is kinda crap now, especially considering that Enrage does not affect its damage. Ah well, guess my experience with it answers my question. Really only good if you're Arms, and even then, only pre-level 30 when you don't have better abilities like Slam and Whirlwind.

Yeah, totally a super important change that everyone was asking for. Fixing the issues with Charge? Fixing Battle Shout so that it actually generates threat? Pffff, who needs that фекал when you can get rage from killing critters!

Uh...no? He showed that Battle Shout was changed in patch 2.0.1 Nost runs on patch 1.12.1 He just "pwnd" himself. As usual.
