So I just found out that Ice Barbed Spear is only available from the Korrak quest until patch 1.8, so pretty much unobtainable. What weapon(s) should I use from 52-60? I'm currently Fury and dual-wielding Thrash Blade and Doomforged Straightedge. I also have a Kang. I also plan on going Prot at 58 and just tanking BRD / DM:E to 60, if that changes anything.

Yeah, getting Ice Barbed Spear pre-1.8 is a pain in the dick. Sul'Thraze and Destiny have just about the same DPS as the spear though, so yeah, roll fury and have fun.

Even on Darrowshire, herb spawns seem really low. I looked up the herb spawn map for Blindweed and did two full circuits around Swamp of Sorrows, passing by every single possible spawn point. Two full circuits, around an entire zone. I found a total of eight nodes. Same thing happens with Dreamfoil; I go from the western side of Azshara all the way up to the northeastern tip, passing by every spawn point on the way, and only find 3, maybe 4 spawns of it. Would really love to be able to buy a flask for less than 100g.

Oh look, yet another person that got caught buying gold, now coming to the forums crying for sympathy and claiming they were banned for no reason. GMs don't just blindly ban people for having gold. They track gold sellers and see where the gold is being transferred to. If you don't buy gold, you won't get banned. I've got almost 500g now and I'm not banned.

Try deleting the .lua file in the WTF folder. When CoE didn't work for me, I just deleted its data file in the WTF folder, and it worked after that.

I played three AV games. All of them ended in under 30 minutes.

I see lots of warrior guides advise using Sweeping Strikes to kill 2 mobs at once, but whenever I do that, I get wrecked. Even fighting mobs 2-3 levels below me, I end the fight at like 30% health, after 35-45 seconds of combat. I've tried SS + autoattacking and moral striking, SS + Cleave, and SS + Whirlwind, it always ends with a long fight and barely surviving. Is this really faster than killing single mobs? I'm level 51, Arms and currently using a Kang, trying to get Ice Barbed but it's not AV weekend so no AV games. Would it help to be Fury instead? There is Imp Cleave, but I've read that the talent only increases the extra bonus damage from Cleave, not the entire ability's damage.

Even before Thrash Blade, I was using the Serenity sword and Doomforged Straightedge, and my kill speed was roughly equal to Kang. As for now, I managed to snag a Destiny off the neutral AH for 20 gold, and that's working out quite well. Same DPS number as Ice Barbed Spear, plus a sick +200 strength proc that procs just about every other mob.

Killerduki is just a flat-out troll, with his endless insistence that Ret is good DPS and that Prot paladins are just as good as Warriors. Hell, I've even seen him say in Discord that Paladins are *better* at tanking than Warriors.

I've already run ZF like 7 times, neither sword has dropped. Why do people hate dual-wield so much while leveling? Yeah, the miss chance, but I'm not even specced into dual wielding talent, and I still do just fine with it.

Doesn't Korrak take 2 hours to spawn? That's never going to happen with these 20-30 minute zerg games.

Yeah, I tried using Demo shout, but didn't really notice a difference in damage taken.

The level 50 sunken temple class quests are not added until 1.9 or 1.10, IIRC

There's an issue with the sliders for moving x/y position of the aura. They only seem to move in increments of 5, and if you hold down SHIFT to move in increments of 1, the value will just snap back to the closest multiple of 5, when you let go of shift. You can get around this by shift-clicking to move, then continuing to hold shift and clicking the X to close the aura editor. Also, when you try to manually move the aura around by clicking and dragging it, it snaps to certain positions. You can't move it exactly where you want because it keeps snapping onto a grid. Intentional, or...?

I played on it like a year ago, so I'm not sure how things are now, but when I played there, the population got to around 2k online every day. Was easy to find LFD groups at any level, and plenty of guilds to raid with. For the most part things were well-scripted, but lots of dungeon bosses had bugs, and a few quests were not completable due to bad scripting. Raids were VERY well scripted for the most part, save for Flame Leviathan having a bug that let you farm him endlessly for super easy gold. I'm not sure about other classes, but for Priest, there was a bug with Rapture that was causing it to have no cooldown, thus, if you were healing, it was pretty much Disc or GTFO since it had infinite mana. Pretty sure the server is PvE.

AoE spells cannot be reflected by anything, you silly billy And the spell being "in the air" is just the animation. You have to activate the reflector before the enemy finishes their cast, in order to reflect it. Learn to play before you cry that things are "seriously bugged".

Well yeah, you were doing this quest at....level 49? The quest is meant for like, level 40-42.

Welcome to vanilla. That quest has a retardedly low drop rate, yes, but I find that to be a good thing: you get tons of exp and loot from grinding so many mobs. During that quest, I got like 30% exp from killing all the mobs, along with about 15g worth of cloth/greens/vendor trash.
