No amount of "pushing" will make the server release faster. It'll only make you look entitled and whiny.

The only reason 1.30 weapons were "BIS" is because tanks were rage capped in raids, so you wanted a fast weapon to spam as many heroic strikes as possible. Now tanks aren't going to be rage capped (as often) so you don't need a super fast weapon anymore. At least, that is my understanding of this whole fiasco.

Why do people keep saying this as if they know it for a fact? As if they somehow know for sure that some unspecified group of people currently logged into the game aren't going to "stay", whatever that means? As if people would seriously join a new server and start leveling and then just quit the server entirely, halfway through

Pretty sure the server has a grace period for reconnects. At least, I got through the queue, then 10 minutes later got d/c'd, but it let me log right back in.

You can't gank fresh characters because they're not flagged for PvP in their own faction zones. So if anything, these salty children are going to stick to contested zones. And probably get banned for griefing, if they're killing quest NPCs as well.

Read his post. Are you using an Enchanting wand? (Lesser/Greater Magic Wand) If you are, delete your WDB folder, because you're likely seeing an incorrect tooltip. These wands have lower damage because they were not upgraded to green until patch 1.9, and the servers aren't at that patch yet. (at least, the PvE realm isn't...not sure about PvP)

I joined queue at 5700, been about 40 minutes and I'm down to 1450. Fresh server won't solve it. The queues are gigantic because the server just opened and hype is high, plus it's the weekend so everyone is available to play. Once the weekdays roll around, queues will drop. Especially during the day.

Just under 8000 on the PvE realm right now. Server lag is very noticeable (half second delay on everything) even though my latency says 110ms.

Yeah, when they capped players at 5000-6000, there was no lag and it was perfect. Not sure what the cap is now; playercount is fluctuating between 6000 and 8000.

Literally who? My experience has been endless negativity from fresh players, crying and whining and throwing sh!t-fits because their server is "delayed", completely forgetting that the entire point of this project was to revive the nost servers, and that the fresh server is just a bonus.

It's "QUEUE". "que" means "what" in Spanish.

So we shouldn't report people who flagrantly break the rules?

Yeah, queues are only insane because it's a weekend. Once we get to the weekdays and people start going back to work, the queues will go down. At least, during the day. Luckily for me, I've got a night job, so I'll be able to reap all of those precious lower-population daytime hours.

When the servers first went up at 12:03pm, yes, there was like a 20 second delay on everything. After the player cap was put in place though, I've been rocking ~120ms and it's been perfect. New players ваууing everywhere and I've only gotten halfway through level 5 after 3 1/2 hours of play, but at least I'm not lagging horribly.

The guy's delusional. Claims that prot paladins should be main tanks and that Ret is good DPS. He also is dead set on the idea that Int is the best stat for Shadow Priests, so it's no surprise that he's spewing blatantly incorrect info for other classes as well.
