Enhancement/Ele are crap in PvE raids. The DPS you bring is pretty low, even with good gear. That and, you don't really bring anything that a resto shaman can't. If you're dead set on "enh all the way", you're going to be constrained to 5mans and PvP.

IIRC, Windfury was bugged for yellow damage abilities. It would not proc on things like Heroic Strike, Evicerate, etc. It only procced on auto attacks.

The benefit of shield is that it prevents you from losing health in the first place. Especially helpful on PvP servers. Mana isn't an issue if you're just dotting and wanding.

Still wondering how my account managed to get banned when I haven't played it since October of last year. You DO get more damage, on your shadow spells. Which is very useful on PvP servers because it helps you fight enemy players. Also, you should be using PWS pre-pull, not Renew after.

Shadowplay is great if you've got an nVidia graphics card.

Since /startattack doesn't seem to exist in vanilla, I did a bit of googling and found a macro equivalent of it. /run if not AtkSpell then for AtkSlot = 12,72 do if IsAttackAction(AtkSlot) then AtkSpell = AtkSlot;end;end;end; if not IsCurrentAction(AtkSpell) then UseAction(AtkSpell);end; Only thing to note is that you NEED to have your Attack button somewhere on your bars, in order for this macro to work. Normally, if you mash your attack button, it will just switch autoattack on and off. This macro will keep your autoattack going even if you press it multiple times.

MMO-C class subforums are fine but the "general" forum is pretty much the same as the official forums: nothing but crying and whining and internet slap-fights over every single WoW-related topic. I play retail and vanilla. Just, I tend to play retail on and off, because the content is so quick and easy to clear, then there's nothing to do while waiting for the next content release. So I usually just clear the current raid on Heroic 2-3 times and then let my sub run out until the next patch drops.

Huh. Resto first? Interesting. Is the 3% hit really that crucial? I'd rather go for Imp Ghost Wolf first, as well as getting stuff like Flurry and Elemental Weapons much earlier.
