The hardest part of Priest healing is just knowing which rank of spell to use. After that, you pretty much just spam single target heals all raid, maybe hit a dispel once in a while. It's really not hard at all.

What I'm wondering, is how the door exploit worked back on Nost. Multiple times, I witnessed people use some kind of exploit that allowed them to open doors in dungeons, for example, the door that opens after you defeat 7 dwarves, or the door to the final boss in DM East. They would walk up to it, their character would start doing the crafting animation, and then the door would just open. This meant that on a BRD lava run, you could also hit up 7d, and in DM East, you could just go straight to the last boss. How the hell did people do this?

But you won't have people in full epics carrying the raid, it'll be mostly preraid bis / greens for the first couple of months.

You're way too late for that, then. When I ran MC just shortly after BWL released, it was pretty ваууing easy, even then. We steamrolled the whole place and 1shot everything. But really, being that there's a constant influx of new players / new characters, and the high population overall, you're never going to have trouble finding a guild or group to match your current level of progression.

It's a weapon proc, not a spellcast, so it shouldn't be proccing it.

Dungeons are really crap EXP. Even around level 20, it takes like 5-7dungeon runs to get a single level up...Deadmines for instance, that'd be at least 5 hours, for 1 level. Really ваууing slow.

As far as I can tell, no matter what race you are, Warrior does not start with different weapon skills. Just 1h sword/mace/axe and daggers. Also, dungeons are well worth it with quests. Especially stuff like the VC chain that ends up being like 10-15 quests as a result, and a really nice ring. Stockades is really nice as well, there's 4 or 5 quests there and the place only takes ~40 minutes at most to clear; gives you around 70% exp at level 24-25.

Should be noted that Warrior cannot use 2h weapons until level 10. But yeah, for the most part just get whatever green 2h is best. However, there's Boahn's Fang BoE 2h axe, which is usually cheap because of the weird stats, and there are much better weapons for 19 twinking. I got one for only 5g on Kronos. There's also Smite's Mighty Hammer with a huge amount of strength on it, as well as some agility.

/shrug every private server I've played on, Shadowmeld ended as soon as you start casting. Might have worked in earlier patches of Vanilla.

Why are we still arguing with the fanatical paladin main? He's never going to admit that he's wrong. The guy practically gets off on being "persecuted" from people telling him he's wrong. He's done it for quite a while with Paladins, constantly insisting that Prot Paladins are better MTs than Warriors, and that Ret is good DPS.

Pretty much, yes. Dwarf is good because Fear Ward is good. Undead is good because racial ability, and Devouring Plague is really good in PvP.

Yeah, just like Sunder, it still gives threat even if the target already has the debuff applied, or in this case, the buff applied. If your group is nearby, you can just spam battle shout and it'll keep generating more and more threat on the mobs. That's what I'd do when фекал got crazy in Deadmines and 5+ mobs pulled. Worked quite well.

If it scaled with SP on retail, I see no reason for it to not scale with SP on nost.

I'll be starting fresh on the PvE server, but also continuing my 60 Priest on the PvP server, as a Shadow priest.

Mmhm. I particularly loved how they talked like they had some special standing on the server, that their opinions and complaints mattered more, simply because they poosocked their way to "realm first" on a private server for a 12 year old game. And this was exactly their intent: make people mad that a Priest got it instead of someone who can actually use it. Bunch of manchildren, the lot of them.

Raid healing isn't very challenging because 90% of the time you're just spamming single target heals on people, and maybe hitting a dispel once every so often. The hardest thing about it is getting used to which spell ranks to use for which healing amounts required.

Wait, since when can shamans use polearms?? I thought they could only use maces, axes, staves and maybe daggers.
