  1. Warlocks, always. Summons and soulstones are incredibly useful and always appreciated. Locks are also way easier to level.

    Playing tank/healer while leveling?

Uh...maybe you can get away with tanking RFC with no shield, but even Deadmines, фекал in there will hit you pretty ваууing hard unless you're way over the dungeon's level.
  3. I'd say that the huge population of Nost was a pro and a con. Pro, in that it's super easy to find groups for anything, and the realm feels super-alive with every single zone highly populated. Strong economy, lots of people farming for items and thus the AH is always bountiful. Con, in that world PvP was a fücking nightmare of ganking; every contested zone was a huge gankfest. Farming for herbs/ore was also hard due to tons of competition. On top of those, the high population caused insane lag / latency for anyone outside of Europe. Even with 8k online, there was a 1-2 sec delay on everything. Can't imagine what it was like with 12k online.

    Priest Leveling Guide

Mm, I kinda see what you mean. But really, I don't think it would make too much of a difference. (both of these are at level 39) https://puu.sh/sxm9p/247c2c4aa8.png - Putting points in Holy, you get that 5% crit on Holy spells, -0.5 cast time on Heal/Greater Heal/Smite/Holy Fire, pushback resistance on heals, and Holy Nova https://puu.sh/sxmbO/d01706fe2a.png - Continuing full shadow, you get extra range, stacking shadow damage increase debuff, Silence, reduced CD on our only CC spell, and Mind Flay, which isn't useful in grinding mobs, but is quite useful in PvP I suppose on a PvE server, it'd be fine to go with the Holy points, because you're not going to have to worry about PvP. But either one would work for solo leveling. I just lean towards Shadow since it gives more damage bonuses, and the extra utility of Silence. Plus, if you really need to nuke something with your spells, you've got +15% Shadow damage from Shadow Weaving.

    What is Mega Disk?

Because I've never heard anyone refer to Mega as "Mega Disk". It's not called Mega Disk, it's just called "Mega" now. It's a zip file.

    What is Mega Disk?

There is no "Mega Disk" associated with WoW. Sounds like a virus. Get rid of it.

Basic Holy Priest guide - "What the light will tell you."

Priest has low damage, but since you don't need to drink, you level faster than most classes. When I leveled a priest on Nost, It took me just over 9 days /played, and that's even with me leveling 2 professions (ench, tailoring) to 200+, spending a good time grinding 90g for a mount at level 40, and running every single dungeon at least once while I leveled. If you ignored professions until 60 and just did questing/grinding, you could easily go 1-60 in 6 or 7 days /played as a Priest.
  8. ^What he said. Spells, talents, etc. will be patch 1.12 Item stats and availability will be patch 1.4 (for example, enchanting wands were buffed to be green and have higher damage in patch 1.9, but since items will be patch 1.4, they will be white and have meh damage) 8 debuff slots, increased to 16 once ZG releases etc. etc.

    Playing tank/healer while leveling?

This is fking rich, coming from the guy who insists that prot paladins should be MTs. No, you do not need to be in a proper spec to tank or heal leveling dungeons. I've healed every dungeon up to BRD as Shadow and had absolutely no problems. I've also tanked and healed every dungeon up to that level as a Ret paladin, and also had no problems. As a tank you just need a shield and your tanking stance (def stance, righteous fury, bear form), and as a healer you just need plenty of int gear. You don't need to be in the proper spec.

    Make it a great community!

You're asking humans to be nice to each other, anonymously, over the internet. Good luck with that.

    Frost Mage Leveling Guide

You can't AoE farm with Frostbite. It will keep randomly freezing mobs and breaking up the group.

    Vanilla client keeps freezing

This isn't related to Elysium, but rather a general question about the 1.12 client. As I'm playing on another server here, the client will just randomly freeze and become completely unresponsive. Nothing else on my computer freezes, JUST the WoW client does. The whole window freezes and doesn't respond to anything, sound stops, etc...I've let it sit there for 5 minutes and it just stays frozen until I alt-f4. Has happened in combat and out of combat. This never really happened before, but in the process of leveling from 1-10, it happened three times. Fairly certain it's not my computer, as a 3.5ghz i5 + GTX 970 is incredibly overkill for vanilla. Only thing I can think of is perhaps one of the addons causing it, but I'm not even running that many, only 10 or 11.

    Vanilla client keeps freezing

Yeah, only other time I ever remember this happening frequently is in Stratholme, and people told me to lower view distance to fix it, and that did seem to work, as far as I could tell. But now it's just happening out in open areas. I'll try lowering view distance a bit and see if that makes a difference.
  17. It's not like it's a broken or OP source of gold or anything, especially seeing as you can only enter 5 instances per hour, and the clear takes under 10 minutes. At best, it's like 60 gold per hour.

    World chat in Elysium PVP

I never understood why people have these opinions on internet socialization. You act like it's a black-and-white issue. Like you can only do one OR the other. It's possible to socialize in your current zone and in world chat at the same time. Plus, I really like being able to LFG or sell items from any zone instead of being forced to go back to a major city and spam Trade.

    World chat in Elysium PVP

Nobody is forcing you to use world chat. Also, the talks of "just like it was in vanilla" are already kind of moot. The server is running patch 1.12 but with only T1 content, has a player cap far above the 3k cap from retail, all sorts of advanced addons that weren't available back then, etc. etc. You're never going to get a 100% "authentic" vanilla experience.
  20. I'll be rolling a fresh account on the PvE server when it launches, and was wondering what class would be best to start with? I want to main a Warrior tank, but I know from experience that leveling a Warrior is a pain in the попа, even with lots of gold to buy greens/blue weapons. So obviously leveling a warrior first is not a good idea. When starting on Kronos I leveled a Mage first, and that seemed to work out fine. It seemed fairly easy to level without any external financial assistance, with skinning/tailoring giving some extra gold and crafting my own gear. And then later on, I can use that mage to farm DM East for easy money. Is there a better choice, though? In terms of both leveling it easily without financial assistance, and being able to use it to make gold later on to fund my Warrior's leveling.

    Free Speech

This фекал again? "Freedom of Speech" only means that the government cannot punish you for speaking out against it. It does not mean you can say whatever you want with no consequences. Furthermore, Elysium is a private company, so freedom of speech does not apply. They can legally censor whatever they want. You have no right to free speech here.

    Playing tank/healer while leveling?

In leveling dungeons, you do NOT need to be healing spec or tank spec, to heal or tank. You can heal dungeons as a Shadow priest, and tank dungeons as a Fury warrior. You don't *need* to be a proper spec until max level.
  23. There are also the level 36-37 Swamp Jaguars in swamp of sorrows. They commonly drop greys that vendor for 7s and 8s each, and there is a neutral vendor right near the area where you farm. I found the drop rate to be much more reliable than basilisks, and a good place to just grind from 37-40 while also grinding money for your mount.
