  1. I enjoyed my time here, but have finally been banned for playing two characters at once (playing just a single became too mindless). I understand you are obligated to keep those NPC mobs I was clobbering safe and contented above all, so I will move on. I say farewell! To everyone who remains, enjoy the mailbox full of gold spam and whispers every 5 min!

    Elysium Project: Moving Forward!

I'm curious what the plan is for khel thuzad. There's a lot of early adopters that rolled there specifically to help ease the burden on elysium. It would be pretty shitty to be left behind/fend for ourselves without a merger when AQ comes out.
  3. I just had a look at the original content release timeline: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline_(World_of_Warcraft) From release it shows 4 months until Dire Maul, 7 months until battlegrounds, 8 to BWL, 10 to ZG, Naxx on Nost. would be coming out about now. That's not too bad a pace really. I definitely look forward to seeing exactly how Elysium refines that schedule for future legacy servers. I imagine everything will move forward a bit, later stuff more so.

    Launch Dates (poll inside)

Given the events, I expect Nost. to drop shortly (days) after this week's stress test. Much later will be increasingly disappointing. They know they murdered K2. The other realms I'm sure will be as close to perfect as they can make them before release.
  5. Have there been many private servers to progress all the way to TBC? On Nost. I was definitely looking forward to AQ and beyond. I will be rolling on old PvP so when I binge and get to 60 I don't end up sitting around for months waiting for content to open. I don't understand this subset of people that seem to enjoy repeatedly waiting for the same content to open over and over. Maybe if I was suuper casual I would take that route, but these people don't sound casual (race to 60 then retire, I suppose?). When I played vanilla originally we only had to wait for content to come out once, then it was out. I enjoy my character progression, not waiting for my server to progress. I'm sure fresh PvP will be fun and popular, but how many existing players are actually going to want to just hit rewind? Its population will be largely a matter of attracting fresh legacy players imho (and this group that prefers pre-DM pre-AV servers), not Nost. vets.
  6. Special chars are so obnoxious. You can't who, whisper, add, report, refer, just no.
  7. I'm guessing the Nost revamped nodes will be active, meaning there will be enough to make up for the overpop.
