Have there been many private servers to progress all the way to TBC? On Nost. I was definitely looking forward to AQ and beyond.
I will be rolling on old PvP so when I binge and get to 60 I don't end up sitting around for months waiting for content to open. I don't understand this subset of people that seem to enjoy repeatedly waiting for the same content to open over and over. Maybe if I was suuper casual I would take that route, but these people don't sound casual (race to 60 then retire, I suppose?). When I played vanilla originally we only had to wait for content to come out once, then it was out. I enjoy my character progression, not waiting for my server to progress.
I'm sure fresh PvP will be fun and popular, but how many existing players are actually going to want to just hit rewind? Its population will be largely a matter of attracting fresh legacy players imho (and this group that prefers pre-DM pre-AV servers), not Nost. vets.
