Old nost team buffed Thunderfury from 15% to 25%. I had it pre- and post nerf.

Except they did not. Thunderfury procrate is stock mangos and in no Elysium Item patches is this changed. If you don't believe me CTRL+F the TF ID in itemization patches and check the Elysium DB, TF clearly has a 5.24 PPM which is ~15% procrate. This has been mentioned several times and yet you insist on arguing and go on derailing the thread. Honestly do you think anyone cares about your pala dungeon gear not being itemized well for you? Paladin tanks are garbage and it's completely irrelevant to this thread. Go make your own thread.

The funny thing is that there is no itemization patch that is changing Thunderfury procrate at all on Elysium. It's stock mangos through all their patches. I guess the only time stock mangos is a good thing when you don't get affected by it :)

I can confirm that after looking at the Elysium DB. No itemization patch modifies the PPM of thunderfury, and the PPM of thunderfury is 5.24. It's the stock mangos PPM. My suggestion is running following SQL query to change the PPM of thunderfury: UPDATE item_template SET spellppmRate_1 = 7.8945 WHERE entry = 19019;

I'm starting to understand why Nope mentioned the itemization drama as part of their reason leaving . It pisses me off more than I want to admit that I farmed this weapon for nothing, and that it's gonna be worthless until the servers endgame is reached. Nostalrius was able to make a reasonable compromise when looking over the circumstances but Elysium seems completely incapable of that kind of thought process. Yes, I'm stupid for expecting this to be Nostalrius and gonna stop ranting. Time to take a break from this server.. hopefully it will have it's shit together in near future.

Amen. This. I really didn't expect them to touch Thunderfury as it was already balanced between the different states. Of course this is not Nostalrius but Anathema kept their philosophy for PvP items so I figured they would stay consistent with Thunderfury aswell. The decision to not emulate best nor worst state on Nost makes sense aswell from a balance perspective. This weapon is not really a legendary nor that great when you put it in it's worst state.. and it's relevance for the game is diminished. We already know the outrage from PvP community when PvP gear was nerfed to pre 1.1 stats.. Some compromises has to be made imo.

What about thunderfury? It had 25% procrate on nost but here u nerfed the shit out of it, 15%. Considering you decided to let rankers keep their updated gear what about thunderfury wielders? Don't do item patches if you can't be consistent, its exactly this kind of shit that turns ppl away from server.

Thunderfury works so im pretty sure other does too. Just remember that elemental dmg is counted into the weapons DPS.
