/Sigh.. Just look up Elysium's reddit and website, they are presently implementing an anti-gold spam system and some other updates. Shall we be patient until they fix up their new update.

Grinding may be better, sure. I'm just assuming the worst case and I like the idea of getting FPs I need anyhow. I joined the discord btw (listed as Ash). Thanks!

Yeah, I will try to snag that logon if I can. My current plan is something like this until 5ish: https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/24696-lf-exploration-leveling-guide-1-4ish/?page=2#comment-282693 Then Teldrassil and some of Dark Shore. I'll definitely help push! I'm at work at the moment but I'll add the Discord link when I can - thanks!

Howdy - Drifter here, I'm looking to go Nelf Rogue and planning on a mix of PvP and raiding. Looks like you have a good plan to get things rolling and it would be something I would be interested in joining and helping out with. I've been playing off an on since Vanilla, although only on live servers. Currently playing on live, but bored to death of Legion however. I skipped Pandas entirely but played most of the other expansions. Generally I've been patiently waiting for a live Vanilla server but it seems its not to be, so I've heard good things about Nost & Elysium want to give it a shot. In short this will be my first private server. My vanilla experience is limited since it was 10 years ago. Back in the day we did MC, ZG, Ony and a mishmash of BWL and AQ20/40. I never did the original Naxx. This is one of the reasons I'm interested in playing on Vanilla along with general nostalgia and a need for challenge. I've no problems farming 5 mans, BGs, and doing raids. I have a fair amount of time on my hands because of the nature of the job so I will be keeping trying keep ahead of the curve for gearing and attainment. Also I just like the name Hurricane. Thanks!

Any off-spec healing class can heal a 5 man fine. This is common while leveling. Even something like a feral Druid tanking and healing with everyone else DPS happens now and then. If you mean no one bothering to cast any direct heals at all - yeah, a needlessly slow and painful exercise but probably doable. Bosses like Rattlegore - hmm, probably not unless you significantly outgeared it.

LF Exploration Leveling Guide 1-4ish!

The Coldridge Mail ones? They are included in my list and I think you only need to be 2 for them. At least as lvl 2 Nelf I was able to do them on Nost PvP. I'm sure your right about a Loc Modan run, for some reason my luck there was not very good and it was not very lucrative for me. -

Fastest way to 5 from a Nelf's POV doing explore and Fedex questing (no quests require mobs or drop spawns): Shadowglen 2 quests Dolanaar -> Darnasus -> Auberdine boat to Methenil Harbor ~ 10 explore nodes along the way, hit a couple in Wetlands also Swim and die along the Dun Morogh inlet, arrive at Cold Ridge from Wetlands Res, 3 quest at Coldridge Do a quick explore circuit, 1 quest near Gnomer, 2 quests near Kharanos ~ 9 explore nodes to SW (optional - You can do a Loc Circuit here but, takes too long IMO) Ironforge to Stormwind 3 quests in Stormwind Go to Northshire, 3 quests here To Goldshire, 1 quest (The Fargodeep Mine, good xp) touch Duskwood border then Westfall border then explore the mine, die inside Res, Elwynn east circuit to Lakeshire ~ 9 explore nodes Walk to Lakeshire -> Hearth back to Shadowglen 1 more quest available in Shadowglen now You will be 5+ now and some starting silver with zero grinding in about an hour. You can tag a surprising amount of explore areas if you practice a bit and know the spots. The ordering is important since some of the noted quests require lvl 3 or 4. Other races can take a similar track, only die and GY teleport through Wetlands. Obviously grind everything you can and you will be near 6 most likely. Your options open up from here, but I figure a combo of grinding soft mobs and questing where you can. Don't forget profession quests (cooking and alchemy notably), you can change professions later. Get of out the starting zones asap (lvl 9 or 10), you have the FPs can mix up the 10+ questing fairly easily now. You will be doing these walks anyways at some point, so may as well make your early levels less chaotic than fighting 200 other players. I'm sure Horde has a similar route hitting the three starting zones, but I have not done it myelf. You probably want to end in Mulgore due to the population. -
Why people want fresh so much?

Pretty much this. If my choices are a clean slate or level on a pvp server with a bunch of bored 60s, I'm really not sure why anyone would roll on the old server (other than because its released sooner).
