I experienced the Al'Akir AQ in PS (ur name rings a bell :p). I can tell you what we got on Anathema was far far more difficult. All trash mobs with uber resistances so that bolts deal 300 dmg, 8K armor that results in a 40% physical dps decrease, blobs on Viscidus running at rabbits on steroids speed, pre-nerf Ouro with one shotting Quakes, etc. The buffed stats on the trash included the C'thun eye & flesh & claw tentacles, the scorpids/bugs on Twins, etc. iirc. Mindslayers on trash packs between Twins and C'thun were spamming the Mana Burn AoE fear that you can't dispel constantly and during the fight, not just upon death. Enjoy handling them when the pack contains 4-5 Mindslayers when you have dogshit raid dps because of their resistances & armor amounts. Had to adapt on the go and for instance equip Shadow Reflector to stack up on Shadow Resistance in order to resist the Mana Burn/AoE Fear and reflect Mind Blasts. If your raid didn't have GSPP you would wipe every single pack. If your melees didn't kick (enjoy trying that while feared) the Mind Flays you would have had a death every few secs. There is a reason they changed all of that shortly after 1 guild has cleared entire AQ40. Content can easily become challenging if it's different than just HP values buffed up, but perhaps too much in that AQ40 occurrence for 95% of the raiding guilds.

Wouldn't it cause a lot of chat spam by server messages which kinda kills the immersion ? I have no actual data on the amount of gold and services sellers getting banned / hour or / day but I'm assuming it's quite high.

That's the problem right there : A lot of guilds make their raiders flask weekly for no reason. Then you have a pretty big amount of guilds speedruning content (which is a good thing, don't get me wrong) but ppl then complain about prices, where ppl are the main reason why the prices are so high since they are buffing up the demand on it. TLDR : Flasking should remain something that costs you a decent amount of gold. It's a needed gold sink. You want to speedrun reguarly ? You gotta pay the price for it.

Izamemario <Coalition> Alliance, can do +15 agility to gloves too. I believe <Morph> had a Frost Power and I think <Scuba Cops> got Subtely on cloak. There is also a Shadow Power on ally side. Should ask them for confirmation though.

Onyxia is supposed to be prenerf. Garr is supposed to have the spell. Wowiki isn't a reliable source at all. You've been linked a video from retail about it where an add nearby the boss explodes from the spell, in the very thread you're mentioning.

There are plenty of Cata servers or previous xpac ones with the "QoL" changes you are asking for. This is not one. Feel free to learn how to counter jump shortcuts which are supposed to be in the game, used since forever and that every single player in the BG can do. For instance once you realize this druid will probably GY jump, focus on not letting him get past midfield in the first place ? Or make sure you send a rogue or whatever to pick him up once he jumped and fuck him up. A player using the same pattern consistently in a BG becomes very predictable and therefore vulnerable. It's your fault for not turning what you call an "unfair" (which is totally fair but whatever) advantage for a horde FC to a weakness. Quality thread nonetheless )

Stats of rare and epic pvp armor sets are updated in their final state (1.11) but the last rank 14 weapons are missing (caster and healer 1h, fast melee OH, etc.).

Less QQ more pew pew. If you believe you are better and more deserving than those who team up to achieve things, prove it by beating them. You are raiding to 39 other players to experience and clear the pve content which provides attractive rewards. Consider ranks and BG the same : you play with others, you organise as a team, or you get shit on.

Ye and the cow has Zulian Stone Axe so the video is post 1.7 for sure. Seems Garr should be able to cast Massive Eruption on a non banished and in range (it's 30 yards I believe) add regardless of boss HP.

0:27 you will see Garr cast the spell on an add close to the boss, which kills it and knockbacks a warrior (the flying orc with t1 shoulders). You can even hear someone laugh about it and another one saying "I warned you". The add does explode from the spell, considering their focus target was another add marked with Skull which just died, and it is very early into the encounter. Garr HP is at like 100 or 99%. Wowiki is not a reliable source, anyone can edit the pages. TLDR : The "Garr's life gets low enough" as a trigger to cast the spell was probably added or removed at some point.

Yeah and 12 years later it's just being abused to create empty games and wintrade so much you would need GMs monitoring every single opening game 24/7. There is a reason it's disabled. The downsides are so dire your BG situation will gain nothing positive from it. Also, it only came with 1.9, which is months away for Elysium PvP.

Why would you want to ruin the immersion of 12 years old vanilla content which doesn't require such fancy circles on the ground ? You can just achieve the same results using C'thun Warner even...

You can't be taken seriously when you are begging : - To disable the core essence of the game, which is team play and organization as a group to succeed/achieve something you can't alone (solo farming a raid is a retail thing). - To enable multi queue (which didn't even come until way later in vanilla) and create an even worse situation for everyone, because dodging and BG hopping just makes premades dodge each other, pugs fill the game instead of them and you will cry so harder we could refuel an ocean with your tears. You would get a very toxic BG environment. I don't think you ever played on a server with multiqueue enabled to actually ask for it like you do. Or perhaps you're that kind of shitters who think ranking by BG hopping makes them deserve their ranks ? In the end you already have a solution : get your own group going and see if you can beat those premade players you hate so much. I heard you'd also get ez honor if you don't suck at the game.
