Find a cpu with high clockspeeds. a 2core 4.5ghz will do you WAY more than an 8 core 2.8 ghz. And probably any simple videocard 512MB or higher should do the trick. (Small tip: Try running the game on SSD)

If you are gonna grind , find mobs that give reasonable xp but more important drop nice loot, get your cash flowing.

Back when nost was up, without elysium, the range of mobs spawning in was so low stitches would just suddenly show up in front of you and you would be dead notime :D no 150dmg poison spam though

Wait, theres a legit wait to get to old outland? Awesome! As far as getting banned, if it's done legitimately you shouldn't get banned. But maybe the antihack system will accidentally pick you up if you are in weird zones, not sure.
