It just wasn't smart to join in the first place and as Elysium has a zero policy for anything related to gold selling / trading or real money transactions. So it was your own fault for joining in the first place so just start over and learn from your mistake. Maybe you don't have a torrent program to download it? Magnet is whats used to make downloading torrents easier. Link works just fine with having a torrent download manager on your PC. Just find a torrent program of your choice and click the Mac download link again and it will prompt you to download.

You could always post again in your ban appeal thanking the staff for unbanning you while in return letting them know that your account is still banned even after being told it was unbanned.

I'm curious as to why you would join a guild that clearly was pushing a website in the first place.

Can someone please explain to me how this pertains to the market place forums? This post doesn't include any of the following: 1. Realm 2. Item being sold 3. Requesting nerf to locks.

Firstly, Elysium Project isn't like most of the other scrub servers out there. Elysium Project is a premium server providing a premium server of blizz like vanilla content. Secondly, why would the experience points change from the rate we are now to a higher rate. This is vanilla wow not legion were you can reach 100 in just a few days. Blizzard has failed to cater to the older generation of wow players who liked harder content and the time you invested into your character meant something. Thirdly, If you want a transmog npc, custom rates, things that don't belong on a blizz like vanilla server with zero custom scripts or npcs then this is not the server for you. It would be nice to have but it would ruin the original concept behind the Elysium Project.

I agree. There are a number of things which could be done to make the forums better. Only time will tell though :D

Won't solve anything either. A few years ago on the server I worked on we started Mac address banning. It solved a ton of issues.

Going out on a limb and going to say you are referring to the people who are linking Thunderfury but it shows as different text? From my understanding as long as the text doesn't violate any of the rules then it's fine otherwise I am sure there would be a ton of players with ban appeals for changing linked item text.

Most players will have a 100-400 ping depending where they live. The closer you are to the server the lower your ping will be.

Sometimes during a dc or lag you will not be able to talk for a while. I know that if you are running any chat addons or any addon's period doing a simple /reloadui fixes the chat issue. I personally have had the issue a few times and just doing a /reloadui fixes it.

If all else fails delete your cache folder. This will reset all your ingame settings to default and any keybindings you may have done will be reset.
