Hello, I was playing few AV yesterday, when suddenly I got killed by NPC (Galv) after the bg was already over and I can't summon my pet since. It dissapeared for no reason. My pet was lvl 60 Lupos named Incursio, I have raid logs and screens that prove I have it. It was on max loyalty rank 6, well fed ( I always have 2 stacks of food with me and feed it whenever he drops to neutral), happy and I used it for months. I didn't abandon it myself, it's just gone. It is very RARE pet. It takes days just to get this pet and then subsequently weeks of levelling it from 23 to 60. I would rather have pieces of my T2 gear missing instead, because the pet is the most important part of a hunter. I already made an ingame ticket and the response was that you are unable to restore lost pets and it was my fault. Neither of this is true. It's not my fault and the pet had to dissapear because of server related bug and I was also a GM before and I KNOW that it is possible to spawn ANY npc of ANY level at an isolated place (GM Island, Hyjal) to help me get it again. IMPORTANT NOTE: This has happened today between 00:00 and 00:05 server time, DURING the server backup! It's very very likely that's related. What? But why? This is not an issue that couldn't be solved ... I lost literally ingame days of playtime because "stuff" goes wrong? What if I lose my character tomorrow and your database is corrupted or something because "stuff" went wrong? I ask you to please make a step forward with this and help a player in need who loves this game and helps the community to improve.

I have updated my questie to current 3.69 version and when I log in, it opens a window called VERSION CHECK! Says something about update and that it will NOT delete my quest data, however it DOES! When I just press NO, it will show again when I login and it always delete the quest data. I want this window to stop appearing, because the addon works just fine and all this does is deleting my quest data. Same thing happens when I try to use clearconfig command. Says it Doesn't clear the Q history, but it absolutely does.

Because they are crap. If you dont need hit, get Spaulders of the Unseen or Wyrmtongue Shoulders instead.

I have a friend who respecs at least 2 times a week between prot and fury/arms. If he can do it ...

That's just a rumor. I tamed one of those to get the last rank of Lightning Breath of Elysium and it has 2.00 atk speed like all other serpents. But I share your love for them, when Lupos gets nerfed I will instantly switch back to my own that I used for levelling.

I would say that for PvE, Lupos is mandatory because he deals at least 30% more damage than other pets in raids and scales very well with the debuffs. For PvP you can have more options than just Broken Tooth. BT is best vs casters because of the atk. speed, but Lupos will be best vs plate wearers or generally anyone that has large amount of armor. You can also use any Boar for Charge or Wind serpent for ranged Lightning Breath. As for levelling the pet, I suggest killing mobs approximately 5 lvls above your pets level. That's what I did when I lvled my Lupos from 23 to 60. You can also try killing elite casters(near ZF) or some elite dragons(DM) that are quite weak, but yield double exp.

My advice: Abandon Rake and get any other cat thats nearest to your current lvl. Level up to 60, then get BT(PvP) or Lupos(PvE). Rake isnt special in any way, regular Swamp Jaguar has the same atk. speed and it will be much easier to camp these rares on 60, since you greatly increase your odds of winning pvp.

Yes, after serpent sting the autoshot bar gets stuck for 1 shot e.g autoshot - serpent sting - autoshot (now cant see the load time, cant prepare for next auto) - autoshot (now its fine) Master doesn't help and actually I've noticed this bug even in the 1.01 version that I was using until now.

You should be fine doing all 3 if you get 3/8 T1 piece bonus and pre-bis gear with BM/MM talents. If you dont it's better to skip croc and kite princess instead of face tanking her.

Levelling as BM usually yields more DPS. This build you posted is meant for lvl 60 Raiding. Reason for this is that you usually never have top gear for your level when levelling and your pet can do 50% or even more of your damage with BM builds. When you hit level 60 and get some of your prebis raid gear, you should switch to BM/MM 21/30/0 or the build you posted now.

Thank you for your response! All valid points from your side. I still think winning 1 AV will be faster than getting the Carapace xbow though. Also you shouldn't need the extra stamina most of the time, but it can be valuable in some encounters.

That basically depends on how fast your weapon is. Usually when your weapon is faster than 2,8 you will always want to clip your shots.

I would like to just report a few things that you might want to fix or look into: 1) 10 agi < 21+ AP, if you're not survival specced, because virtually any number of AP is better than the additional crit from agi Sorry, but you are saying that 1AP is better than 0,19% crit which I absolutely cannot agree with. That's just pure crap. 2) No -> Get + % hit chance until you are (9%) Having 9% hit cap at all times will very likely decrease your dps than increase it. From my experience 5-6% hit on thrash and 9% on bosses is optimal. I don't know if the servers are set badly, but I miss like max 10 shots in whole MC raid with 5% hit. 3) I disagree with the MM/BM talent tree and your " max up fire resistance on your pet to keep him alive" at least from MC perspective Your pet mostly dies on cleave from bosses or giants and that's physical dmg. I have tried stacking fire res and it's garbage, it just doesn't work well. Therefore you should go for max armor, then stamina. For talents get Thick Hide and Imp. Revive Pet. That way even if your pet dies in fight, you can have him ready for next thrash pack in a few seconds without huge mana loss. 4) "Don't put Arcane shot of your skillbar" When the mob is low on health and you know you will not be able to finish your Aimed shot, you should use Arcane shot instead to maximize your DPS. 5) Why do you prefer Carapace Spine Crossbow over Bloodseeker? I have no idea. Bloodseeker is literally better in every aspect. It's easier to get, it has same speed, but better both low end and top end dmg and also has more agility. 6) Consumables : Elixir of Agility or Scrolls of Agility don't stack with Elixir of Mongoose, at least on Elysium server. You will always get only +25 agi. Elixirs shouldn't stack, but Scroll and Elixir should afaik. Therefore a possible bug here. 7) You can easily earn 100+ gold per hour in Maraudon. I don't know what you are doing there, but I am able to farm Mara runs 3 bosses on reset instance cooldown and I have to be VERY lucky with drops to get even 50g per hour. I have picked up Herbalism recently and didn't try with it yet, but unless you get 8+ stacks of Ghost Mushrooms per hour, then it's obvious misinformation. Anyways really good job, I agree with 99% of this guide. These are just my two cents.

Very good for starting players. There is all you need. Once you master the class, you will realize the site isnt 100%, but it is still pretty good :)

Yes, this is a very good list! Depending on your spec and where you are using your gear you can lose hit gear in world pve or get more hit gear if you are BM/MM spec (Lupos)
