For your SS/BS question... I'm not sure about regular macro coding, but you could use LazyScript. Then make a macro of /lazyscript and assign it to a key. ss-ifAttackFromBehindJustFailed2.0s bs The "if" for SS might be slightly off, but it should be pretty close. The first press would try to BS, then the 2nd press would check to see if BS just failed and give you a 2 second window to SS instead before it reset to BS again for another attempt.

You've got a fairly similar setup to my own rig... but I don't have any of those problems. (I'm also not running Discord at all and don't try to do anything else while it's loading... so maybe I do lag and just don't realize it. Ha) Have you tried downloading WoW again? Maybe something got a little honked up with your current one. Oh, I just thought of something... I also have a 4 drive storage pool on my system. I usually get some lag as all the drives spin up, even though my WoW folder is on my SSD, which is not part of the pool. That wouldn't take into account the difference you see using the 2 different EXE files... but it's still something to think about.

There are various addons that change and play sounds, so you should be ok... you should probably double-check the ToU first tho. Just to be safe.

Once you've got the 2FA squared away... install "Authy" from your respective app stores. It can save your codes in the cloud with a password to protect them. Next time your device dies, just restore the cloud backup.

I'm playing around with LazyScript and trying to make my own Form... but I'm having a little trouble with one of the modifiers. An example in the LazyRogue bundle uses "ifKillShot" as a modifier for evisc, but in my own Form it's not doing anything. Instead I'm having it check to see if the target HP is below 20%. Am I wrong in thinking that ifKillShot is supposed to determine if evisc will kill the target with 1 hit? While the HP check works, I would imagine ifKillShot would compensate as I leveled and got stronger weapons and would then trigger at a higher amount of health left on the mob... right? Here's my Form so far: Thoughts?

I've never gotten an error for not having Mobinfo2. Seems like it also uses MobHealth... which I do have. I didn't dig too far into the lua, since I can't follow the code all that well... but I'm guessing it uses that as part of the "Deathtimator" (or however it's spelled) to show how long until the mob kicks the bucket.

I'm also in the LA area. My playtime is all done during the evening (after 8pm) and I've never had any lag issues with Darrowshire. It usually stays around 170ms even when streaming music. What server do you play on?

So does that mean that mean that Elysium and Darrowshire are jumping straight to 1.11 as well? The timeline page shows 1.07 and 1.08 being the next updates, respectively.

They were more than likely sniffing the Torrent... I got a similar notice years ago about a Saturday Night Live episode. While there is no way for them to know if you've deleted the game or not, you might want to setup a VPN for when you're playing.

Check out the last item on this thread... sounds similar to what you're asking. Since you're not modifying the game files, I would imagine it's allowed.

I'm starting to play around with LazyScript. There is a sub-directory in it called LazyRogue that has a few pre-made examples... I'm pretty sure one of them had scripting for what you want to do. I also read another thread that talked about strafe-backstabbing. Basically, you stand right on top of your target, slightly turned, then strafe behind them while spamming your backstab. I haven't tried that method yet tho.

All of this is why I went for Darrowshire. (and also that I don't PVP) Any online gamer, casual or hardcore, should know that the more people you have playing on a server the slower that server will become... there's just only so much processing power to go around. Right now, at 8:30 am Pacific, this is the status of the 3 active servers... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that Elysium is going to be laggy compared to the others.

I'm on Darrowshire and don't have any issues with lagging that is talked about on the more populated servers, if that's a concern. On the other hand, I'm a casual player and going into this solo (lvl 12 human rogue)... so I can't speak for guild activity. Just my 2 cents.

It's worked so far... up until the whole button placement thing, which isn't needed if you're using pfUI. I fixed my problem by just deleting it, along with the supporting files, and re-cloning it. I did see that there was an issue logged on Github about items going grey, the author gave a fix and the guy having the problem said it worked. I'm not sure if it ever got pushed out to the fork tho... you might have to edit the files manually. Update: I actually just had the grey issue myself, so it's safe to say the fix never made it into the public fork... logging out and in again fixed it. I then went and did the fix myself, it's super simple to do. The longest part was just waiting for the Atom editor to install. I do have to say tho, the sort is slow as hell now... so you'll want to play with the delay to see how far you can push it until it breaks. Good luck.

Thanks for your help! I ended up just resetting the layout. Now if I can just figure out how to get the CleanUp bags button to go away I'll be all set. I turned it on after seeing pfUI has support, but can't figure out how to get rid of it now.

Help me shagu, you're my only hope! I was playing around with settings and turned on the Micro Bar to see what it does, but I lost the controls for the left panel that show Guild, Durability, Friends and can shrink it. I tried turning off the Micro Bar, but it didn't restore the control. You can see in my screenshot that the right panel control is there, but the left is missing. Any ideas? (I can reset the config and it'll reappear, but there has to be some other way than that... right?)

I found a super simple way to create the symbolic links... Link Shell Extension. (Found via a Lifehacker article from 2010.) It added a few commands to the right-click context menu in Windows Explorer. Once you've installed LSE, it's just a matter of right-clicking the folder you need to link, then right clicking where you want the symlink to live. Example... I just sync'd Questie to my Github Desktop and had it clone into the AddOns folder. As you know the actual folder for Questie is named "!Questie", and it lives inside the QuestieDev folder that Github would clone to your AddOns folder. Obviously, this isn't the correct structure for the AddOn to work. So, to make this work, I went into QuestieDev, right-clicked the !Questie folder, chose "Pick Link Source" that LSE added to the context menu... then went back to AddOns, right-clicked in an empty space and chose "Drop as... > Symbolic Link". Fire up WoW... boom! Questie works, without having to break the Github clone to keep it updated... and no messy command line-fu to remember. Enjoy.

I've got a level 12 rogue that I'm doing skinning/LW with as well... I don't have a Scrooge McDuck money bin to swim in, but it helps take the edge off equipment costs when you factor in the rest of the mob drops you get. Also grab any secondary skills you can... every little bit helps.

I'm in California and get about the same as IzZa... and that's with streaming music in the background instead of the in-game tunes.

Can't speak for the other items... but I live in Cali and play on Darrowshire in the evening once my kids are in bed... even with streaming music I can manage about 170ms, but that's also a much less populated server. Try turning off the in-game music and streaming some new "retro" Synthwave or the "Meet The Professionals" mix by ThePrimeCronus... it's pretty epic.
