Right now there's usually anywhere between 2500-3000 players during peak times (fri/sat/sun ~17-22 ST). There are numerous progression guilds on both horde and alliance, so you should be able to find a guild that suits your playstyle without any problems. World PvP is always the thing, although now that battlegrounds are out it is much safer out there.

There is only one server at the moment - Nighthaven PvP and it is currently in patch 1.6 (1.7. - 5th May).

@Frankenberry You've made some fair points. I would just like to point out that, in the first part of your post, you kind of missed the point. "So in my opinion I can't see how changes to premades would really make a difference for you guys." It would make all the difference in the world for solo players. I've tested this myself out of sheer curiosity to see how it feels for "regular" players. 33 solo WSG games, 29 losses - 4 wins. The only reason behind this terrible score is the fact that with the system we currently have in place, each time you solo queue you'll almost certainly get a premade team on the other side. At that point, it does not matter how skilled or how geared you are, it is going to be a quick loss. Long story short, it is virtually impossible to get a decent amount of honor each week if you solo queue. The only exception to this is if some premade team joins the WSG with a few spots free - then some lucky pug players get carried. That being said, premade vs. premade prio would make solo playing perfectly viable since pugs would be facing pugs and that would more or less be an even playing field.

Have you tried changing your password in game?

That is not possible since Anathema is no longer online.

TBC is not released yet and it most likely won't be released before Nighthaven reaches the end of its patch progression (December according to the published timeline). You'll have to remain patient for the time being. :)

You should be able to log in if the account info is correct. Bear in mind that you won't be able to use your old characters on Nighthaven as we do not allow characters restorations/transfers to that server.

Your characters are safely stored for future use (TBC). We do not restore/transfer characters to Nighthaven (our only server at the moment) so if you wish to play here you'll have to create a new character.

Don't get me wrong, being a player myself I get your frustration, I really do, but I am not going to sugar coat things here. We will not be enforcing carebear rules on a PvP server. I do not want to say you signed up for this, but then again, you're playing on a PvP server. You'll have to find your way around this issue and if you do not, I wish you the best of luck wherever you go. :)

What exactly do you propose we should do? It's been like that since day one. People still play. Nothing will change. We can not punish players for gameplay mechanics that was introduced by Blizzard themselves over a decade ago. Ganking occurs much more often now than it did back then, that is for sure, but that is not under our control. There are numerous techniques to make things better while leveling, it's up to you whether you're going to utilize them or not. If you get really upset after being killed a couple of times in a row, WoW may not be the game for you anymore. If someone's really pushing the limit and corpse camps you for an extended period of time, feel free to open a ticket and one of our GMs will take a look, but as I said, occasional world kills do not break any of our ToS rules. As far as ganking/WPvP is concerned, you will have exactly the same experience on any PvP server and that includes future Classic PvP servers.

I'll take a look into this. You could use a casting bar addons (such as http://www.vanilla-addons.com/dls/ecastingbar/) to replace the regular one to avoid stuttering in the meantime.

You will eventually be able to enter a WSG in those brackets but PvP twinking in general is not really active on Nighthaven. I hope players like you that are interested in twinking can turn that around though. There were some initiatives to bring twinking (especially 10-19) to life, but I guess it did not go as planned so people gave up. That does not, however, mean you won't be able to participate in BGs with your twink, but it just is not as active as people might have expected it to be. I hope that answers your question.

Correct. If you wish to play on Nighthaven, your only option is creating a new character.
