Not a mac user but I play on linux with wine staging. I dont have any issues at all with Vanilla or TBC wow using it. May have to visit WineHQ for mac specific guides or YouTube videos on how to get that working.

Have you tried downloading a fresh client and reinstalling? This doesnt seem like a server sided issue with client crashes.

In the past when content is stale we have launched a fresh realm. Then merged the fresh realm into the older realm when on the final patch.

Blizzard official servers are classic. Private servers are vanilla. You don't use vanilla addons in classic, I guarantee it. They are completely different code bases. That's why they don't work here.

They are two completely different versions of the game. This is Vanilla, you need 1.12.1 addons to play here. Classic is more like retail Battle For Azeroth and the addons are not compatible. There's almost nothing "under the hood" that is the same between the two versions. Please see the addons forum here for your addon needs for Vanilla servers.

Open a GM ticket in your character having the issue also open a GitHub ticket for the development team. Link is in my signature below.

Try exiting the game and clearing you WDB and WTF folders and logging back in.

You only need to set the realmlist.wtf You can even download one directly from the front page of the website. Disconnects like this are related to not having a properly set realmlist. It should only have 1 line in it and be sure not to have any extra spaces or returns it should say; set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org

If your online, the token is counting down. Theres no way to slow it or stop it.

These types of issues are typically caused by addons and bad cache / addon data. Try clearing bity WDB and WTF folders and temporarily disable all addons.

Clear the top left slot in your original backpack and place the charter there and try again. Sometimes you have to transfer it to your bank. Relog. Put it in your first slot and then turn it in. Sometimes you have to do the above but when you relog you also have to clear your WDB. This is the same with some quest items. It's a strange bug, apologies for the inconvenience.

Is vanilla gaming closing and giving character data out? The only reason LH is able to come here is because the server project closed down and they released encrypted character data. If VG isn't doing the same it's not possible.

Yes we plan on accepting the transfers. Were currently working on a tool to be able to import the data. We had our first successful import test today. We need some further testing and to be able to make a user facing web tool to accept them from here. I dont have an exact date for this to finish at this time.
