I don't have any hard proof of this, but it seems some email services have an over active spam filter that removes our emails on their server side. Can you try and create a gmail account and create an account using that email and see if it works?

Everything at patch 1.12.1 is already in the game. The patch changes are made server side so the users don't have to download updates.

The files are in the zip but not extracted? Am I understanding the issue correctly? Can you specifically move just those files from the zip? You may have to get a different 1.12.1 client download.

Root cause could be several things, computer issues (normally related to drivers, in my experience), game installs that are corrupted or become corrupted and addons. Is this a brand new issue, or has it worked perfectly before and started happening over time? The easiest and lowest hanging fruit is to simply make sure you disable all addons and play for a bit. Second, is to make sure all of your drivers are up to date. Also a good idea to do a virus scan/malware scan on your computer. If this has always been an issue, I would also try another download of the 1.12.1 WoW client and do a fresh install to a fresh location on a secondary drive, or install it directly to your desktop if you only have 1 hard drive.

Are you able to give specific quest names and a better description about what happens and what the expected results should be? I don't quite understand the first part, but the second part about killing a quest mob and not updating is either you are not killing the correct quest mob or you have an addon that isn't updating properly.

It's instant once you receive the activation email. Make sure you have checked your spam folder. Make sure you created a game account and a forum account, they are different.

Agreed, it took me over 100 kills to get all 6 if I remember correctly. It's quite the grind. -
You created both a forum account and a game account on the website correct? https://elysium-project.org/ Either press the Create Account button or scroll to the bottom of the page. If you did that, make sure you check your spam email folder as well. It does send you an automated activation email that you must click the link.

Nighthaven is planned to stay vanilla. The TBC server would be a choice if you want to move over.

Maybe submit a GM ticket so they can investigate. Do so by clicking the red "?" on your mini-bar in game.

I honestly don't know what to do in this situation. I would start again with a fresh install of the game, no addons and see what happens. This would tell you if its something game related or something computer related I guess but the root cause escapes me.

I suggest since it has been a bit of time now, to reset and wait about an hour before trying again, with your new/reset information. The reason to wait an hour is because that's approximately how long the system locks you out on a bad username/password. If this doesn't work, go ahead and post in the ban appeal forum, 2 factor isn't currently active on the project, so ignore that part of the ban appeal forum read-me. If you are truly suspended and it's not just a login issue, it's probably because you account had suspicious logins on it at one time and it was locked down. The CM team cannot look into these things, the ban forum is basically creating a ticket to get someone on the GM team looking into it for you.

Sleepy, That realmlist is correct assuming no quotes. You took care to not install WoW to Program Files, right? You installed it to another drive or to your desktop or something? You installed a WoW client with version 1.12.1? Not just 1.12? Once you save the realmlist file you can close it. Then right click the file, goto properties and check the box marked "read only"

Are you using a VPN? Can you try a VPN? This sounds like it is a connection issue of some kind.

Do you use any specific addons or addon settings with the character that keeps getting dc'd? Even if all the same - its possible an addon has some function with that character that is unique and does it. See if playing that character with no addons at all makes a difference.

More than likely its something incorrect in your realmlist.wtf file. It should only have a single line that says; set realmlist logon.elysium-project.org Be careful when copy/pasting that it doesn't create extra spaces or returns, windows sometimes likes to do that and it will cause the system not to recognize the login address and you will get that message. Also make sure that you didn't install the game to the default location such as C:\Program Files\ this will also cause it not to work. Install to a secondary disk on straight onto your desktop instead.
