Just a wild guess but if you just put the wand on your action bar it doesn't work. You have to go into your spell book and drag the skill from there. I believe its called "Shoot" or something like that off the top of my head.

Apologies in advance if this makes you unhappy but here goes; The character recovery tool was used for previous servers of the Elysium project. These servers (Elysium, Anathema, Darrowshire as examples) were all merged into a single server named Stratholme. The users of the server project wanted a fresh server so we launched Nighthaven as a fast patch progression, blizz like experience. The player base of Stratholme switched to Nighthaven, leaving the Stratholme server unplayable with only about 300 users online at peak times. With a low user count the Elysium project moved the server offline and Nighthaven is our only project server. This server being fresh, does not allow for any character transfers or character restores. In order to play here, you will have to re-roll with everyone else. The characters merged to Stratholme will be available for transfer to our Burning Crusade expansion server once Nighthaven completes patch progression, which is roughly in early 2019. Again apologies if this makes you unhappy but we are having fun here on Nighthaven and hope you join us!

Statistics about the Nighthavenserver?
Zancon replied to Raenerys's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
There is a website that gets pretty close to the stats located here; http://vanillaradar.com/elysium-stats/ To give you an idea on populations. PVE server was merged into all the other servers - to a server named Stratholme. Once Nighthaven launched, Stratholme users for the most part switched to the fresh realm. This had a negative affect on the Stratholme Population and made it unplayable so the database was moved offline. There just doesn't seem to be the widespread interest in a PVE server like we see on the PVP side. -
@rachid6Your character was on a previous realm - those realms were merged into a single realm called Stratholme. The users of Elysium project wanted a new, fresh server so we created Nighthaven. Nighthaven is a fast patch progression server in which all users have re-rolled. The server does not support character restores or transfers from other realms. The database for Stratholme was moved offline after the Nighthaven launch because the online users dropped to about 300 online at peak times. You will be able to transfer characters off of Stratholme and on to our future Burning Crusade expansion realm in the future, roughly early next year when the progression of Nighthaven is completed. Nighthaven will stay our vanilla server for those that do not wish to go into TBC.

Forum and game accounts are separate. If you have banned yourself in error you must wait 40 minutes before trying again. I also recommend waiting 40 minutes after resetting the password before trying to login. I guess its possible to sit there and keep trying to log in every 40 minutes. You may try the support channel on discord to see if a GM can help you, us CM's here on the forum and on discord don't have any ability to look at account details. The reason for the policy is we don't have a real way of you proving you are the account owner as we don't have billing or CD key information like retail here.

The most common cause of issues like this is a copy/paste error in your realmlist file. Make sure you remove any additional spaces that operating systems like to add when copy and pasting. Also make sure that you don't have additonal spaces in your username or your password to the game server. Next most common cause is installing to to the default game server install directory such as"C:\Program Files\" or similar. Please make sure the game client is installed to a backup drive or a folder on your desktop or really anywhere but the default program files locations. Private servers will not run from there.

The elysium project server is Nighthaven, and we do not currently support two factor authentication. You will have to reach out to the owner of the server.

Been away for a while, what happened to characters from Anathema?
Zancon replied to pellefant's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Anathema, Elysium and Darrowshire were all merged to a single server, Stratholme. Stratholme's user base wanted a fresh server so we launched Nighthaven. Nighthaven then dominated the population for the project so we moved Stratholme offline. Your characters are all still saved, but due to only about 300 people online we moved the server offline. To play here you will have to re-roll like everyone else onto Nighthaven. Nighthaven does not support or allow character transfers or restores. The login screen showing more characters is a known issue. You had 10 characters that were merged to Stratholme, which is what that is showing. There will be a Burning Crusade expansion server here, and you will have the opportunity to transfer characters on Stratholme to that new server when it launches. We do not have a firm date, but it will be after Nighthaven completes the patch timeline posted on the main website. -
Strange - Do you also have any audio issues? The last thing I can possibly think of is DPC latency and some problem drivers - could be worth a shot? https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/solving-dpc-latency-issues/

Characters from older server such as Elysium, Anathema and Darrowshire were all merged together to a new realm named Stratholme. After the launch of the fresh server, Nighthaven, the majority of the users on stratholme switched to the new server and made Stratholme unplayable due to only having about 300 people online at any given time. We saved the Stratholme database and moved the server offline. In around a year we will launch our TBC server, this is when you will be able to transfer older characters from Stratholme to the TBC server but an exact date is not yet known.

The stratholme server was moved offline after we launched our fresh realm, Nighthaven. Nighthaven is fast patch progression and does not support character transfers or restores from other realms. To play here you will have to re-roll with everyone else onto Nighthaven.

make sure all quest items are in your backpack. If you use any backpack mods that make all your bags 1 large bag, put the items in the upper left hand corner. You may have to relog with the items there before you can turn it in. Usually this fixes these types of issues.

What happens if you disable all addons and play? Still stalling and freezing? I doubt your hardware is an issue given the length of time the game has been around. There is also a server launcher and connection tool you can try https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/63998-download-server-launcher-and-diagnostics-tool/?tab=comments#comment-465390 Addons with 1024mb should be plenty as well. Do you have any other stutter issues in other games? Do you have other USB devices that could be giving input lag, like controllers and such?

Since your previous characters were on the Elysium server, this server was merged with other servers into a server named Stratholme. Stratholme had a very low population once we released Nighthaven and was moved offline. Nighthaven is the only online and playable server currently and does not support character restores or transfers from other servers. You will not be able to restore your characters until the Nighthaven timeline completes and we launch our Burning Crusade Expansion server. This is in roughly 1 year. All of our user base has re-rolled fresh here on Nighthaven, so to join in you will have to do the same.

What level can I start Warsong Gulch?
Zancon replied to bemental's topic in General Discussion & Suggestions
Off the top of my head this functionality was added later, patch 1.8 if I recall correctly. On our schedule this is July 8th. We are currently in patch 1.7. This may not be the gospel so apologies if this ends up not being correct on the patch number it was added. -
Have correct user ID and password, but can't login
Zancon replied to jayhawks5575's topic in Help & Support
Was your character on Elysium or Anathema or Darrowshire or Nighthaven?? Can you recall the last time you successfully logged into the account? It's difficult to pinpoint exact issues. Sorry I am throwing darts at the board here trying to help. If you didn't have a ton of time into your character(s) it may be best to simply create a new account and get back in the game. -

Try to use the recovery tool and then waiting 45 minutes before you try to log into the client. -
To my knowledge there isn't a plan to remove ZG enchants, but I also not a decision maker. I will see if I can follow up.
-
It's because they are coded that way into the WoW client.
-
The Elysium server is a very old server form this project. It was merged last year with the rest of the older servers into a new server named Stratholme. With the success of our fresh server, Nighthaven the Stratholme server was pulled offline at the end of the year. We hope you will re-roll on Nighthaven.

First I have heard of this, source?

Also sometimes the vanilla WoW client and quests don't like to work if any of the materials or quest items are outside of your original backpack. So make sure items are in the backpack. If you use any addons to combine your backpack into a giant backpack it will be the upper left most slots for your original backpack. Sometimes taking the items out of your backpack and placing them in the bank, and then back to your original backpack will also fix the bug.

There's not a way to transfer characters between projects. Within the Elysium project, you will be able to transfer any Nighthaven or Stratholme servers to our Burning Crusade server in roughly a year from now when we release that server at the conclusion of the Nighthaven patch progression.
