High level overview to help you guys out; All Elysium project realms (Anathema, Elysium, Darrowshire etc.) were merged into a single realm named Stratholme. The Elysium project user base was very vocal about wanting a completely new, fresh realm. This realm was created as a fast patch progression vanilla-like experience and the server was named Nighthaven. After the Nighthaven release, the users flocked to the new Nighthaven realm, and re-rolled new characters. Nighthaven does not support restored characters or realm transfers. The popularity of Nighthaven negatively affected the Stratholme realm, to the point Stratholme only have about ~300 total users online at peek hours. Because this low user count was unplayable, the server was moved offline. Without getting into drama, another vanilla project named Light's Hope continued the older, pre-merge Elysium project servers. I cannot speak for them, nor do I have any idea how their project runs or how they restore or transfer or any of those things. What I can tell you, is here on Elysium we only have 1 server, Nighthaven, where everyone has re-rolled fresh. As far as I am aware, there have not been any transfers from Elysium project to Light's Hope Project. The light's hope project has the old Elysium database, it was not a transfer or a restore. If you would like, go ahead and start a fresh character and join us here on the Elysium server Nighthaven.

Did you ever try a VPN to connect first? It could be a routing issue. We have received 2-3 of these types of reports recently, but with so little information its hard to diagnose.

Can you give more information? Have you been able to log in perfectly previously?

Your characters from older realms were not deleted, they are saved on an offline realm called Stratholme. The only current server is Nighthaven PvP which is a fresh, fast patch progression server that does not support transfers or restores from other realms. All players have re-rolled new characters.

Forum accounts and game accounts are completely separate. You cannot log into the forum with a game account. Since you stated the credentials log you in here to the forum you have only created an account here. The link you posted is correct to create a game account.

Negative. The average retail Vanilla WoW realms had between 2,000 and 2,500 users online at peek. Nighthaven has more users online than a retail Vanilla server.

Well then it would be a real shame if some of them hit R14 tomorrow and immediately get banned for gold buying.

Gold sellers & gold buyers get banned here, period.

It's not just a question of gear but of the economy as well, we can't introduce accounts from Stratholme into Nighthaven and not expect disruptions to the economy with the influx of gold and materials from another realm. The goals with Nighthaven were clear when it was created and that was to be as true to original vanilla as we could get while maintaining a quick patch progression. We have done well for the most part with some errors along the way. Overall we are very happy with the way things have turned out, and I don't believe we will ever allow transfers or restores to Nighthaven so that we can protect it.

It's hard to say exactly why this has happened to you. General things to look out for is; 1) Incorrect logins multiple times will ban you for 40 minutes. Wait 40 minutes between getting banned and trying to reset/login with your account again. 2) Copy/Pasting logins and passwords will often create an additional space at the beginning or end of the password causing issue #1.

Yes - even though Light's Hope took the database from here, your characters were moved to Stratholme here and still saved. You will have the ability to transfer them from Stratholme to a Burning Crusade server in the future. Just note that characters on Nighthaven will have naming priority over those on Stratholme.

Vanilla vs. Retail for me personally is just the challenge. My retail characters while leveling are impossible to kill unless I do something ridiculous. For me its just mind numbing and boring.

Guild charters must be in your original backpack when you try and turn them in. Sometimes this can bug and a work around is to first move the charter to your bank vault, then close all bank windows and backpck windows. Then retrieve the charter from your bank directly into the very first slot in your bags (normally the top left slot, depending on addons). Then go find your NPC of choice to turn it into with the also required 10g cost to create your guild. Good luck!

The chest spawn can get bugged at times. Your GM or Raid leader (please just 1 person) should immediately click the red "?" in-game on the mini-bar to submit a GM ticket. Continue the raid and then sort it later. With that said, if you did not do that already, please submit the ticket.

It's possible the items were changed though patch progression. Since you already run client version 1.12.1 and the patches are enabled server side sometimes this happens because your WDB folder is caching the old item stats. To ensure you have the most up to date item stats shown in tooltips go into your vanilla wow folder and simply delete your WDB folder. This will re-download upon your next login and should fix your issue. If it doesn't fix your issue, its possible those items were changed in a later patch that this server has not yet reached.

Nope, the database is saved, just the server was moved offline. In about a year the Nighthaven server will complete the patch progression from Vanilla. At about that time we will have a Burning Crusade server available and you will be able to transfer from the offline Stratholme server to the new Burning Crusade realm. We just do not allow restores or transfers to Nighthaven since it is a fresh realm that everyone has re-rolled new characters on.

The servers from September 2017 were merged and then moved offline. The player base all moved to our fresh server, Nighthaven. When this happened it made the previous servers unpopulated and unplayable. It sounds like your account was part of the previous servers as Nighthaven was launched on November 5th 2017.
