Panos the Wonder Child 2 Report post Posted November 14, 2016 As I stated briefly in my other forum post, I am personally most attracted to the fresh start realm, and think it would be awesome to start there with a handful of RPers on the same faction as myself. This post is to gauge interest and see if anyone is willing to coordinate with a small (or maybe even large group) for frequent roleplay and maybe even gameplay on the new realm. So where do we start? First and foremost, we need to see how many people are interested, without people this won't get off the ground. I'd honestly be happy with four to five other people (including me) for a full, or almost full group, but I would be overjoyed to see more! Secondly, we need to pick a faction, I suggest this should only happen after we see whom is interested in rolling together. Maybe we can even set up a day to meet, or have a small vote if we can't decide. Third! Scheduling and Times! I've noticed that this community, (and the old Nost RP community) was very global, having members from Canada to Australia, so clearly not everyone will be able to make every event, or RP session, so I suggest often adjusting the times of said events based on the needs of the group, so no one in an odd timezone is left out or forced to come to something at six in the morning! Fourth! Guilds? I'm quite hesitant to make a guild, as I'm really hoping to also raid and experience the game as well, there are a couple of options for us here, but to be entirely honest we won't be crossing this bridge for at least awhile. I personally think everyone should seek their own guild for two reasons. One, because of the possibility of conflicting time-zones, and two with all of us in different guilds, but still actively playing together, we can only expand the player-base that we know! This is all I can think of for now, if you are interested in making a character an RP character on the fresh realm, I recommend posting the following, Your preferred faction Your timezone, and times when you are online What class you might be playing (this isn't as important) What you would like to see from this group! Depending on the day I can be on from noon to 3am (EST) Class: Warlock! Maybe a Rogue. What I'd like to see from the group?: The dream for me is to see 15 - 20 RPers actively roll on the fresh realm, and maybe even one day do an IC UBRS run while forming adventure parties for IC instances and quests, with maybe even a few DM'd events! Even if we aren't a large community, I believe even amongst a few of us, we can form good RP storylines and the like. I'll generally be free past 6pm, though. Class: Priest, warrior, or rogue. What I'd Like to See?: Definitely would like the casual stuff like tavern RP. The dungeon RP sounds amazing, as does anything happening out in the world. If this gets off the ground, I'd be happy to play with you guys. Additional Information: I first started WoW at the very end of TBC. I have never experienced a real 40 man raid, nor an alterac valley that lasted as long as I've heard they can. But I'd prefer to give horde-based RP a shot! Timezone: UTC(Coodinated Univesal Time) +1. Class: Warrior, Shaman, Paladin or Mage Expectations: I hope for a community where hopefuly there's always some Roleplay going on somewhere. I know this might be too much to ask, but it would be awesome. besides that, I'd love to see some military driven Roleplay or some evil driven Roleplay. it has always been those forms I enjoyed most in WoW. Additional Information: Played since Vanilla through to Cata and picked up Legion. GM'd or ran roleplaying guilds on WRA (Wyrmrest Accord), Moonguard and some one-shots on Nostalrius. This of course doesn't mean we don't want more people to roll with us or we are "closed", it's just to give everyone a solid idea what faction we will be creating characters on first. And in case of the character I'd like to play that would be an Alchemist. I am not really that good in PvP and I do not believe that I would fit the high standards for vanilla level raiding either. So I decided to play a merchant instead. It's much safer this way. “Just let the Adventurers do all the dangerous bits.” I just like to have fun with my RP characters. My alliance backstories are stronger than my horde, but I'm keeping an open mind so that I can go either way. Will the server allow you to create toons on both factions?
