I haven't played on a private server before and I tried using the search to find out some answers, but erm, I guess I was being too vague for it so, I'll give it a go here. Just signed up for the stress-test and I am downloading the client at the moment. 1) Given that the account will be deleted (as stated), will there then be another opportunity to create a new account on release? 2) Is the client that I'm downloading now for the stress-test going to be the same one that I will use/update for the actual release? No, you will never be able to sign up or play after the stress test. (If not, where could I get the actual client?) No, the client you downloaded from a different website that has nothing to do with Elysium is to be used for the Elysium stress test only. I won't ignore his response because it may have been a mistake on my behalf to not break down the questions for people who are less fortunate in the brain department. Slippery. 1) The question was mainly whether or not I'm creating an account in the correct section. Is there another link to go to in order to create a perm account, or is that currently not an option, just the temp stress-test one. 2) Same idea. Given that it is mentioned that it's for a stress-test, I wasn't sure whether or not there is another area of the website where I could download a client that doesn't necessarily relate to something that is temporary.
