Shayss 43 Report post Posted November 23, 2016 Ok, so I have already seen other complaints but I have to say there are two major things on this forum that really should be changed. 1 - Edit. We cannot edit the OP. eg: player posts recruitment on guild section. If anything changes in that guild the OP cannot change the information on the recruitment post. This is a huge drawback that needs amending. 2 - Censorship. This isn't so much a problem as it is really really annoying. Whenever someone writes a swear world it goes to some russian italics. фекал <--- like that. We are on the internet. I think we can handle seing someone call us s.hit or попа.hole. Does anyone else have an issue other than these two points I brought up? I don't mean like "The forum is ugly", that comes down to personal taste. I hope we'll switch to phpBB Group run boards rather than the current IP. Board. If we do, both of the isues you list will be eliminated. Being able to edit is really important, epecially for running-list type posts, or posts in need of updated information...these are extremely vital. I did remember reading something about forums being updated but I don't know if it included this stuff. Hm, Pottu am I incorrect in saying the forums are going to be overhauled? I remembered reading it but now I don't see it. I don't find them very well structured, plus sometimes sites pop up with only kyrillic letters which is quite annoying. A: Yes, we’re looking into the possibility of making the forums a little more World of Warcraft related. However, currently our web resources are focused on the website to prepare the transfer and account creation. But I had thought I read something a little more immediate in tone. We are working on a solution, meanwhile, just post updates in the threads themselves and obviously no threads will be removed for not complying with what I wrote above until the edit function is available."
