Hello everyone! I would like to create this page before hand to help re-ignite the flames of passion.

 

Before the server shut down I was able to host 2 successful Naked Gnome runs to BB, I would like to keep the races going, at least 1 every month. Again the prize pool will largely consist of my own gold and any gold/items that are donated to the prize pool.

 

This Time around, to keep things fresh and exciting, I am going to be alternating where the start and finish lines are for each race! keeping the participants fresh on their toes.

 

This was a great way to get people to know each other and to keep the realm active in more than just raiding and PvP.

 

I would also like to extend this page (when we are finally able to edit OPs) to any and all other community events that people would like to plan. After all we all live around the world and certain events start at inconvenient times for some. For example I will be living in Japan so my Events will end up happening early morning for US, and mid afternoon for Europe.

 

So please! lets consolidate a list of events to keep interest flowing into our realm and to keep our current players constantly engaged with each other. These events could include large planned PvP battled, shenanigans such as the naked gnome race, and anything else designed to get strangers to interact.

 Ironskillet's event - Naked Gnome Race

 

        RACE #3 JANUARY 1st, 11am EST (US)

 

this will be the time of the first Naked gnome run since relaunch of the server, I want to give it 2 weeks to allow people to ease back into the server, and for new people to get a chance to level a bit first. And so they can understand how desperately they need gold and try to participate and win lol.

 

to celebrate the return of the PvE server this month's race will reward a nice bounty of 200g! people are encouraged to donate to the prize pool to increase the suspense of the race. You can donate Gold or items (only weapons/armor or rare materials)

 

rules will be just like last time

 

the start and end location will remain a secret until race time

 

OFFICIAL RULES / GUIDELINES

every participant will be in a raid with me so i can not only observe where everyone is on the map. But to also prevent people from partying with hunters and sneaking in aspect buffs

NEED help summoning level ones to starting location, so if you got a warlock please volunteer to help summon these chumps!!

-Must be on a level 1 character (We will have a warlock to help summon people to avoid leveling via discovering zones, so once summoned, DO not move beyond the town until race time)
-Must be a gnome
-Must NOT have any armor value items equipped
-Must NOT have any beneficial buffs of any kind
-You can NOT spirit rez during the race, you must go to your corpse
-Using the assistance of another player is prohibited (you cant have your 60 friend kill mobs in your way)
-No swimming in oceans! you can cross the lake and the rivers but you can NOT swim along the coasts
-NO hearthing / flying! lol, in short you need to walk the whole way!
-NO SPEED ENCHANTS!

while I will encourage members of my guild to participate, Most of the people who participate are random members of the realm, this is something designed to get new people to interact with each other in a fun and interesting way.
