I've never noticed it till the third and final stress test, but Does the fact that the servers are being hosted in Russia affect Americans experience in terms of lag? Or is it simply based on my connection entirely? On this last stress test reaching an all new high of 10K+ people (gratz to them btw) I was reaching latency up to 7000ms and that's not too optimal. I live in the country so if that's the reason then that's its, but if its a Russia thing then....I also can't do anything about that. titarian 7 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 Once everything settled down and I was able to get out of a packed Ironforge (700+ ms) my latency would bounce between 100-200ms. Yeah, just wait, things will settle pretty quick, as long as you do not expect a smooth launch because it will be as laggy (if not even more laggy) then the stress tests.
